I hope this section helps you get to know me a little bit.THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY- relaxed weekend mornings and a 2nd cup of coffee- that warm spring day each year when I fill all my planters with flowers- elderly couples that hold hands when they stroll- red wine, dark chocolate ... sometimes together :)- getting a really good deal on something I would have bought anyway- new shoes- losing myself in a good book- dinner and wine with my amazing friends and laughing till my cheeks hurt- travelling!! I'm more interested in cultural travel than beach vacations, but those have their place too- watching tender green shoots poke up through the warm soil in my veggie garden- when my cat stretches so long that he falls off the couch- picking strawberries in June; raspberries in July;- hanging laundry on the clothesline- first BBQ of the season;? GOOD FOR YOU; MAYBE WE'RE SOUL MATES :)- hearing my sister laugh ... she's too far away so don't get to see her enough- cooking with that special someone, sampling and laughing as we go- being a fitness *** witnessing the achievements of the regulars in my classes- hearing my 2 kids playing guitar and singing together and knowing that they would be friends even if they weren't siblings- annual girls weekend at friends cottages- a man who smells good- cleaning with the music turned up loud- believing that somewhere out there my soul mate is waiting to meet me; maybe it's you :)THINGS THAT ARE IMPORTANT- calling your parents- keeping promises-- rotating your tires- checking expiry dates and ingredients when shopping- sticking up for someone who's being bullied- loyalty- a man who smells good- SENSE OF HUMOUR- friends and family- considering the planet and humanity when making everyday choices- and above all else ... LOVE Somewhere that we're both comfortable and we can talk and get to know each other. Hopefully neither of us is looking for an exit and we're both looking ahead to a 2nd date.     I am a people person! I enjoy meeting new people and being with friends and family. Life is an adventure and every day there is something to learn, enjoy and experience. Hiking, camping, paddling are some of my favorite activities. I prefer to canoe and kayak as I like to enjoy the slow pace, the scenery, and sneaking up on wildlife to capture pictures.
