About Me

I am not that athletic but I do enjoy canoeing and camping. I would still love to be able to go canoe camping but it is nicer to share this adventure with someone, or better still a group of friends. Consequently I have had to resort to stationary camping or RVing. I love to go on spontaneous weekends when the weather suggests that it would be crazy not to. I also like to choose destinations based on the weather. I like to walk or go to the gym but I am not very consistent. I love to travel and would like to be a snowbird. (I noticed a lot of men here like motorcycles. That is not me.)Winter, what can I say. I struggle with the short days. Enjoy "real" winters, which is not what we get here in the GTA. I am a fair weather intermediate downhill skier. Love the après-ski - good wine, cold beer and hot tubing.!I love to read, to wine and dine, and curl up on a couch to watch TV with that special someone. I love to watch nature shows, crime dramas, The Voice, American Idol, and The Big Bang Theory. I am not a traditional women who loves to cook and keep house but I can put a meal together.My degree was in accounting and economics. I worked in the family business. When it was time to start a family I chose to be a stay at home mom. It seemed to be the right thing to do as we adopted a natural sibling group of 3. The two oldest are all grown up now and off to post secondary education. My youngest is 17 and lives with his father.If you would like a lady who is warm, caring, loves good conversation, honest and loyal maybe I am the women for you.     Hello GentlemenHard to do this without tooting your own horn and I'm not that kind of person.
