About me.....hmmmm. As for appearance, I'm your average 'girl next door'. As for personality, I'm fun-loving and grounded with a positive outlook on life. Regardless of past or present challenges, I do believe everything happens exactly the way it is supposed to and we're best served when we use them as an opportunity to grow and to learn more about ourselves. Though I have a wonderful, plentiful network of friends, I'm ready to explore the possibility of companionship to share the intimacies and experiences only a 'partner' could bring to my life. I love entertaining but am also completely content spending the afternoon by the fire with a friendly game of scrabble. I’m not interested in a relationship centered around the bar scene, though I don’t mind the occasional afternoon out at Taco Mac watching football. Everything in moderation :) I must have some moon in Libra somewhere on my astrological chart because I am all about balance! I am completely passionate about animal rescue and have a rescue of my own (un-planned) who has shown me true unconditional love and filled a gap I didn't know existed before her. Though I'm reliable, responsible, and a team player in my career I don't live to work....I work to live and I do want to live life to the fullest. I love exploring ..... that might mean in my own neighborhood or it could be across oceans! I would love to have a compatible partner to share all the wonderful experiences waiting to be embraced. I am especially interested in the possibility of meeting someone who will protect my heart while helping me to grow in ways that only a relationship can. Corny as it may sound….that is how my mind works. :) It's much easier to stay single since we usually don't push ourselves to a point where real growth occurs.     I enjoy all types of traveling (short and long road trips, cruises, canoeing with no water - just ask!), watching movies (comedies of course and psychological thrillers top my list - hmmmm), reading good books, playing cards and board games like Pictionary (which is funny because I can't draw - just put a cork screw on a dog and it's a pig and hope I won't need to know where Germany is)!! I also enjoy gardening and cooking. I probably watch too much HGTV! I love remodeling projects and think doing these type of home improvement activities with someone special is super sexy. My kids are grown but I still enjoy hanging out with them, or is it my grandkids I like and my kids are just their transportation.     I raised both of my kids , now I'm ready to find someone and live happily ever after,sounds lilke a fairytale huh? lol..I like to camp and have cookouts with my kids, I like to go bowling and I am a great shot at pool..
