About Me

I am a nurse in a nursing home, fulfilled giving to the sick and elderly, but missing a companion, someone to grow old with. I love family, history, the ocean, movies, I love my patients, I am alone at 53, want someone to share the rest of my life with....welcome any new friends, someone just to talk to, e-mail, text, or more. Like today music and of course I love those oldies. I even like to fish.

Woman. 54 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.

Looking for: man. In age: 51-61

I like the nice things in life, but I also enjoy the simple things life has to offer. I like to smile and enjoy life and not take things too seriously. I enjoy meeting new people and sharing each others life experiences. Some things I enjoy are: Sports - ROLL TIDE - I'm very competitive - love a challenge - but hate to lose!!! Music - country and gospel are my favorites but I can enjoy most anything but RAP, love to dance, sing, play the piano. Outdoors - being around the water, riding 4-wheelers or motorcycles, just taking in the beauty of nature. Love to cuddle and watch tv/movies together. There's not much I don't enjoy, as long as I am sharing it with the right person. What am I looking for: A man with a great sense of humor, Open minded, Positive attitude, Ability to make me laugh and laugh at himself. I want a relationship filled with passion, sparks, and laughter. I believe in romance and think there is someone for everyone. I would love to eventually find that special someone.Someone who: Brightens my day with the sound of his voice. Will slow dance with me .... Realizes that a good relationship is give and take, up and down, good and bad. Can show me affection and attention. Thinks about me when we are apart and looks forward to the times we are together. I'm looking for that special someone. Someone who brings back those special feelings.... the way his hands feel when he touches me, the look he gets in his eyes when he's feeling playful. Someone I am able to talk with about anything and everything. Just knowing that I can call him my friend and lover. I love knowing that I have a place in his life, and that he will always show me how much he cares, not through words alone, but by his actions. Someone who realizes that a good relationship is give and take, up and down, good and bad. I want the love that is possible with the right man. Not looking to play mind or heart games. Not looking for a perfect man but I know what I will tolerate, what is negotiable and what I'm not willing to waste time on. Someone who can show me affection and attention. I don't need to be smothered to death, but show me you are interested and that you care! Someone to think about me when we are apart and look forward to the times we are together. For those married men who choose to look on this site because you aren't getting what you want at home, please pass me by. I don't do second place, it's number one or nothing with me....If any of this sounds interesting to you, drop me a line and let's see what happens. If we do nothing but form a new friendship, then we both are winners. A first date should be a time to talk and get to know a little about each other and decide if there should be another date. Nothing extravagant, someplace not too loud and busy. If there is a second date, go all out and impress then!!!

Looking for: man. In age: 48-58

Here is the scoop about me in a few sentences. I am a reader, a rider, a professional. I am passionate, fun loving and funny. I am looking for a guy to be my partner in life, my best friend, lover, confidante and the one person in this world that looks out for my best interest. He should be intelligent, funny, open to new ideas, willing to try most anything with a smile on his face. If he is a rider all the better, if not, no bias here but during the summer months it may be hard catchin up with me!If you are still reading, feel free to ask more. Thanks for stoppin in!Four adjectives that describe the man i am looking for: confident (not****), communicative (has thoughts, feelings and a vocabulary), thoughtful (has awareness that the world is much bigger than his personal bubble), humorous (positive attitude a must).Thought for the day.... They say redheads are becoming extinct. "Blondes are noticed but redheads are never forgotten." I had a particularly inspiring day, thought it would be nice to share, I teach tiny tot motorcycling.....I said this hundreds of times yesterday. Part of a simple teaching message Go, Slow, Turn.Even this simple message was tough for some of my students. Others had no problem and took to it like fish in a pond. While the bike is in neutral, we tell them about the throttle by saying this is your go. We tell them to pull it back, even harder if they are shy. You see if we can get them to pull back hard, the engine will rev hard enough to TICKLE them! You know when it happens, they just light up! We both share an eye to eye silent.... Wow that was great! We both smile! One little, i mean little girl, say 4 or so, took to it quick, i let her go and when she got to the turn she went a bit fast, slid around and was out of control for a second.... I run up to her, my heart was racing! She gave me a scare, i said, u alright? She replied with an enthusiastic THAT WAS GREAT!. OMG i laughed so hard!We tell them, not to look at the barriers, you will run into them if you look at them. One boy, he had done this a number of times. He was really discouraged and i was afraid he was going to ask if he could quit. He had a pouty face and said "this is hard". I said yea but it is fun! Next thing i knew, he was off again!Best advice for today- Let me see YOUR GO!, Rev your throttle, tickle someone and you will be tickled back, it may be hard but it is fun!Call me a glutton for punishment, i am headed back down there today, i feel like i got hit by a truck, pulling and tuggin those little bikes around got me! But i want to do it more!
