About Me

Who I Am ... I am an active woman who is always on the go. I require variety in my life and desire to live life to the fullest. Because of this I take care of my body with physical exercise (gym) and healthy eating. I do not eat alot of meat and only a little seafood. I can be shy/playful, sophisticated/down to earth, or introvert/extrovert depending on what I am feeling at the moment. I am independent and have a strong personality; yet I am loving, affectionate and a "giver" as well. I am spiritual but not religious. I love the earth, animals and other cultures. I thrive on new experiences. I enjoy romance.What I Like To Do ... I like most anything outdoors, boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, hiking. I used to hunt but find it hard to kill a fish these days so I do a lot of catch and release. However, if you hunt I am ok with that; I will bring my camera. I enjoy painting, ceramics and other artistic ventures, music, theatre, movies, resturants, social events and parties. I absolutely love to dance and can dance all night long. I love Merengue, Bachata is ok. I do not like to Salsa (to restrictive). I like to dance country but need a teacher, lol. Most of all I love to freestyle dance, lol. I would like to learn ballroom dancing and slow dancing is always enjoyable. I enjoy fashion and nice clothes. I have my own style and enjoy making my own statement. I can do jeans and shorts but love dresses and heels (along with a place to wear them, lol). I like Yoga, meditation and "new age" stuff. I absolutely love to travel and can be ready to go in no time.Oh and yes, I forgot for a moment, lol. I am definately an animal lover and though I am not the most graceful at it, I do like to ride horses. Zip lines and tandem skydiving are on my bucket list (someday) and I really do not like horror movies. Though I will cry thru a Sponge Bob flick, LOL.PLEASE ... If you want me to notice you, you must have a recent picture. Even one year can make a huge difference. You like to see who you are conversing with, please afford me the same respect. After all, if we meet, I will know what you really look like, LOL. Thank you for this courtesy! I prefer a dinner or breakfast date or, someplace where we can sit and talk without shouting over others. I do not want to choose the resturant and prefer a location ***way between.

    Thanks for stopping by to read my profile. I am an energetic lady and mother of two young adult/teens (age 20 and age ***that will be grown before I know it, with spiritual principals and a love for life. I am looking for a friend initially. I like going to concerts and playing a good hand of pool. I enjoy all types of music, especially classic rock. I go see one Redskins game a year and need to make time to see a Capitals game as well. I am friendly and have a wide smile. Most people say I am genuine to the core. I have a technical profession but most people wouldn't think that upon meeting me for the first time. My profession has served me well but I always think of myself as a child of God and not about my profession as what defines me. I am nonpartisan politically. I am spiritual with no real Sunday church going behavior but I do read the Bible and other spiritual books regularly. I am looking for a mature, spiritual, man that doesn't have a temper, is easy going, is outgoing makes me laugh and is a romantic. A first date should be short but in a relaxed atmosphere without distractions and noise. I would be nice if the man treated the lady to lunch as I find just coffee tends to be sort of rushed and cold first date. It should be clear at the end of the date if you want to exchange phone numbers or not. No one enjoys the wait and see approach and everyone is busy.

    well I always thought I would be the perfect date/girlfriend. I love sports ... Faithfully watch the Eagles (actually worked there for 3 years ... what a blast). Watch the Phillies alot and am starting to watch more basketball. I love to shoot pool when I can (even though I'm not very good).However, I do love other things as well. Love music (most kinds). Love to go to karaoke and listen. Don't have the guts to go up and sing very often. My job requires me to attend some dinner meetings and conferences so I get to travel once a year for work. My other love are my kids and my granddaughters. My granddaughters are 3 years old and 9 months old. Luv them to death. So if I described myself I would say that I am quiet at first if in a new situation but love to host parties and am comfortable planning them. Casual most of the time but love to play "dress up" and hit the town. I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for right now, even though I marked "wants a relationship". I feel that if I look for a relationship, it will never happen. So I just let things happen. Relaxed, casual meeting in a small bar/restaurant for happy hour and maybe a game on the TV
