Greetings,Well this is a bit awkward writing about oneself, but I guess it needs to be done. I'm a very young, active and tall 54 year old lady who loves to travel (especially internationally), read, hike, walk, ski, cook, write and have fun with my nieces and nephews. I don't have kids of my own, nor do I have boundary, health or emotional issues. I'm kind of a happy-go-lucky gal with no baggage, except the kind you check into airlines. I love dogs, but don't have one because I travel too much and wouldn't want to have him live in a kennel. I do "borrow" my sister's kids and dog regularly, and we call them my "part-time" kids and pet.I was in a solid 30 year relationship (most of the time married), but lost him to cancer in early ***, so this demonstrates I know how to love and be loved:-). I've just recently started dating again, so it's all rather new to me, but I must admit I've had a lot of fun, though I haven't yet met Mr. Right. I can honestly say that I enjoyed meeting every man I've dated though, and that they were all nice men. They all wanted to go out with me again, so that was very flattering and fun.I love adventure and to try new things, though I must admit I didn't like zip-lining when I tried it earlier this year. The weather was perfect and the course was amazing, so I'll have to blame it on not liking to go at high speeds while being at ***feet up in the air. I would have preferred to do a nice long hike. I've been fortunate enough to have visited lots of countries, but there's lots more cultures and countries I still want to explore. I think intelligence and wit is very attractive, much more important than whether you have hair or sculpted abs (though I wouldn't complain about sculpted abs either). My number one desire for a good date is good conversation. I enjoy the outdoors, some of the things I like to do is kayaking, camping, hiking, and so much more. Indoors I enjoy bowling, playing pool, watching movies with that special person cuddling up on the couch. I am also the type of person that likes to try new things. For my 50th birthday I chose to go to the zip line. It was the first time for me and I had a blast. Just recently I went to a opera play called "Marriage of Figaro" My daughter was in the play. I really did enjoyed it and it was my first time going. I was glad that they had closed caption because I would of been lost. LOL!!! I enjoy traveling and going on road trips. It was a last minute thing which made it just that much fun to go. I do enjoy all kinds of music (not rap). I am also a easy going person. I enjoy having fun and laughing.I am looking for that special someone that wants to spend their life with me, that like adventures and doing new things some times. If that person could be you, I would like to hear from you. If it is nice out meeting at a park or the Big Dam Bridge to be able to walk and talk to each other.
