About Me

I have a very playful side and a tendency to jump into tomboy mode quite often. I will admit, I can be quite the girly girl... on occasion I'll do the big hair and red lipstick! but I'm never far from jumping back into my cargo shorts to feel relaxed and in my element.. I'll take function over fashion any day.. I have no problem baiting a hook, changing a flange or tinkering in the garage.. I enjoy working with my hands and creating; a good outlet for my inner artist. I'm the youngest of three, the only girl and have been very well taken care of through out my life.. I have a healthy sense of security, well being and am at peace with life's journey thus far... I have two beautiful children, grown and out of the house; although at times, it feels like Grand Central Station as they come and go as they please. They remind me daily the importance of giving thanks and counting my blessings. I'm amazed at how secure and productive they've become... and to think I brought them into this world!!! I have one grandchild who is my everything.. talk about unconditional love! I'm so fortunate to be able to share in her life... I love the outdoors, camping, boating and exploring this beautiful state.... not to mention the art's, theatre, concerts, the multitude of festivals, there is seriously something going on year round.. I love being a native Californian! born and bred!My extent of travelbred 'abroad' falls on the conservative side, I have yet to see Europe! my dream destination... definately adding that to the Bucket List!! Hopefully, when I find my "other half" I'm not looking for a marriage proposal...(I've been divorced 14 years) not to sound cynical, it's just not a priority.... I love living life without an agenda... it's stress free and liberating.. I'm perfectly content with the idea of finding that special someone to share in lifes pleasures.. anything beyond that? well, thats another chapter waiting to be written....I keep my eyes looking up, I trust and have faith in my journey... and am really excited to start life over 50..
