About Me

I'm a serious career woman who has a goofy side that likes to have fun too. I'm outgoing and have a good sense of humor. Separated end of December and divorce was finalized July 10, ***. Just trying to meet new like minded people for fun socializing. I'm not looking to rush into anything and hope that those who are interested can be patient with me given I am recently out of a 20 year relationship and surely am out of practice.Other notable information:1. I am really 5 foot ***inches but meetville does not allow halfsies for height.2. I am not a cook. Sure I microwave, and cook a few things, but one should not expect great cooking from me.3.4. Typically friends and co-workers would say I'm an intelligent person, but they all know I am navigationally impaired despite that. Even when using the GPS I have been known to get lost (my friends and co-workers raze me about this often).5. I like people and their stories.6. I dislike traditional exercise and have only managed to be good at it when I can think of it as fun and not exercising. Examples for me are walking, bicycling, roller skating, tennis, and soccer (one year - but i might go back to it).. But I must admit I don't do any of them consistently enough except walking. Striving to do better.7. I have respect for a lot of religions. I was raised as a protestant, but admittedly I have not been active with a church in years.8. I love the way the beach looks and like walking there, but just not into sitting out in the sun out by the pool or the beach when it is ***degrees! I love doing it during the winter in S.9. I am disappointed when we assume the worst in another human without really knowing the real facts. We all do it and I strive to always assume the best, but perfect I am not.10. I have about a dozen pair of readers tucked away at home and the office because of the realization that my arms are no longer long enough.11. Some of my bad habits I should try to ditch are too much salt, diet cokes and chewing ice. 12. If your tall though, don't let the mini concern you. It's been successfully tested by 6 foot 5 inch individuals and confirmed as an okay fit for even a tall person. If you're over 6'5" we'll take your car. :***.14. I am not a fan of reality TV for the most part. Big Bang Theory, House or Person of Interest might get me to stop in front of the TV, but it would never be the end of the world if I missed any television show.15. I love staying busy doing fun and interesting things with other people. I prefer to be a participant in life verses just an observer.16. I love doing the unexpected to help someone or to make them smile. It makes them feel good but more importantly it helps me feel like a good person. ““Any venue where you can hear one another and have time to get to know one another a little better is good. I am most comfortable with men 6 ft or over with adventure in the soul, and an easy-going personality. Humor is also huge. Although I enjoy the nice comments from men under the age of 48 and over the age of 62, at this point neither makes sense for me.Likewise if you don't live in town or plan to move here soon -- or close by, I can't see a relationship developing.Strangely enough, even at my age, and with my moralistic standards, I can find my share of guys. If I haven't run you off by now and you are good looking and fit the criteria maybe we should talk.Important "honesty" points that I can't emphasize enough: Put your true recent pictures; put your true age, not the age you feel; put your true height; put your "true gut" and your true "status." If you are "separated" but say you are "divorced" and I call you on it and you really want to meet me (and fit my criteria), please change your profile status. I don't want to hear how you tell women the truth later. Be truthful now. You are putting out "bad bait" because even though you might meet me, I will know you are willing to be deceptive to get more hits. So then I will wonder, what else are you deceptive about? I've had this happen three times so far. Sweetly two of the guys realized the error of their ways and updated their profiles proving they are not game players. Even though a relationship didn't occur for various reasons, we are still friends. I am open to just about any idea in terms of a date as long as it is interesting and fun. I want to get to know someone before I get into a more romantic relationship. I am looking for an equally attractive person and equally motivated in life with a non-hair trigger temper. I am not self-centered and I would hope you are the same. The main thing is that life is short and so we should enjoy it!
