I love anything that has to do with art, doesn't mean you have to.I could spend hours just looking at the sky at night, and I love thunderstorms. I have been known to be sarcastic at times :) I have my own opinions and I'm not afraid to share.I'm not the religious type, but I do believe you need to believe in something, no matter what that something is. I hate lying, not only because I suck at it but I would prefer to be known as honest than a liar. I have never cheated on anyone in my life, I would rather end a relationship that sink that low. My family means a lot to me.I have no criminal record... with the exception of a new speeding ticket. I know the difference between there, their, its, it's, which, witch, your, you're, where, wear ect.. Hi, I'm Desi. I'm a redhead with lots of freckles and spunk. My fiery personality matches my fiery red hair (it's almost like I've got my own warning system, ha ha). I love to laugh. A few more random bits about me: I love to travel and wish I had more opportunities to go new places. Life is an adventure and I'll try almost anything once, unless it requires that jump out of or off of something at a great height...not sure I'm game for that...lol Over the last year I've lost quite a bit of weight and dropped four sizes. I know that I will never be a stick figure, but that's okay. I love my curves and wouldn't want to lose them. I enjoy being active, especially if it means I can be outside.I'm a children's librarian. I shelve books and check materials out to our patrons. I also run storytimes and lots of other activities for children and teens. And when I'm not at the library I am either working on my novel or sculpting. I make jewelry and dollhouse miniatures from clay. It started out as a hobby and has grown into more of a business. My first how-to book on the subject of polymer clay will hopefully be released in the Fall, if I can get it all put together in time.I've got a nerdy side. I love Doctor Who and I've always wanted to go to Comic Con. Horrible (Yes, that makes me a Nathan Fillion fangirl)... My family is very important to me. Some of my favorite family memories are of canning and pickling together. It's a group effort and we set it up like an assembly line. We do the same thing when we make tamales. It makes the work go by much faster and it's always fun. I love to cook and bake as well, and I think I'm pretty good at it, I've never had any complaints. My favorite things to make are Italian food, Comfort food, and Cakes/Cupcakes. I can't think of much else to say, but if you have any other questions, drop me a line!
