About Me

The job is stressful, but helping youth succeed is what makes it very rewarding and is the reason why I chose to go into psychology as a career. I start school back up in January to get my Masters degree. My long term goal would to eventually open my own practice and give therapy to adolescents and transition age youth. Some of my hobbies include, reading, bike riding, walking trails, swimming, and running! Really, if the activity involves being outside, I like it! I also love watching sports, my top two are football and baseball, and I love going to games.I'm a very caring person. I give 100% in whatever I do. I believe in quality of quantity, and that is why I really only have 2 really close friends. Both of which I have known for over 20 years. Family is everything to me and I want the person I am with to have good family values as well. I have a black pug, who I love to pieces. I love all animals, I grew up on a farm and have raised pigs, goats, and chickens! So the person I'm with liking animals is also very important to me. I love to laugh and smile. Most of all I just like to have fun! I love being able to stay in and watch TV, but also like being on the go and doing new and fun things. I am also a huge documentary nerd, so on weekends I usually like to search through Netflix and find an interesting documentary to watch. I love going to the movies, and will watch pretty much anything, weather it be action, drama, comedy or of course a chick flick. Music wise, I listen to pretty much everything except scream-o.     THIS IS SO FUNNY- thank you to all men that take pictures with their shirt off and really shouldnt. Also, anyone that has flannel sheets for curtains in the background... I use humor to disguise how uncomfortable I may be.So all my friends used to be single in college- now they arent.
