About Me

Well, where to begin? I have finished my Bachelor of Music and just moved back from St John's where I am finishing up my Bachelor of Education. I'm a lover of all things music, be it learning new ***, playing in bands or ensembles to just plain listening to the radio. I hope to become a teacher one day and eventually work my way to graduate studies in conducting and pedagogy. But for now, I'm enjoying the student life and trying to be as much of a sponge as possible!I like to have fun and I always try to make sure I'm having at least a few laughs every day. I don't take myself too seriously and I'm always willing to try new things. I love going out for drinks with friends, going to concerts and anything that involves good company, good food or good laughs (or all three!!). I feel happiest when I'm surrounded by friends and killing my abs from belly laughing!I'm a saxophonist, a guitarist and a vocalist. My favourite genre is ska/punk rock, but I really do love almost anything. I have a deep love for learning. Languages fascinate me, as well as history of all kinds. I'm very big into certain sports, especially baseball and hockey, but my real passion is in the martial arts. Karate has been a huge part of my life for the last decade.So, what am I doing on here? Well, I'm looking to meet people that I don't normally get to meet in the daily grind. Life gets busy and you all too often pass amazing people by. I'm a goal oriented girl, but also dedicated to family. I'm looking to meet someone who is grounded, laid back, intelligent, loves to laugh and is willing to have an adventure or two with me. PLEASE...no two word messages, cheesy (or inappropriate) pick up lines, or people who can't form cohesive sentences.
