About Me

Quirky is a perhaps the best way to describe me in a single word. I tend to be a rational person and am looking for someone who can communicate and talk things out when there is an issue. I love a wide variety of things but I really just love experiencing life. This may mean going out on a Saturday night with friends, or staying in and watching a good movie, or heck camping or spur of the moment trips. In particular I find myself enjoying a good book, video games, and engaging discussions on a wide variety of topics. I tend to be a bit of an odd ball, in both my interests and mannerisms. I like to make jokes and making those around me happy. I smile more than most people and am very much a people person, I thrive on it. Friends are important in my life and my family is what defines me best, I tend to be a bit of an animal lover so you have been warned. I am currently finishing up an honours degree in environmental studies and am active in the environmental community. I enjoy intellectual pursuits and learning as well, learning it a life long goal for me in many different ways. For the sake being open I generally don't go out clubbing and do not want someone who is still in their party phase. I do enjoy going out from time to time but am not looking for someone who loves to party with his 'bros'. As a partner I tend to be empathetic, calm, and very considerate. I want to find someone who I can enjoy the little things, and who I can try new things with, while not being afraid of the future and considering what it may mean for us. I need someone who wants to spend time with me but has their own life as well, I can't do clingy but I do want to see you weekly. I've spent a lot of time figuring out who I want to be and what I want out of life. I'm looking for someone I can connect with on a real level and who is looking to the future the way I am. Hook ups and casual dating are not things I want in my life so if that is you intention then I suggest moving on to another profile.     Hi! Ugh ok lets see, what are my hobbies? I guess I would have to say my hobbies are health and exercise. I'm trying to become a more healthy person and lose some weight. I enjoy being outside swimming, boating, fishing, being around a lake. The perfect day for me would be hanging out by the lake all day, going tubing, swimming, laying out, enjoying a boat ride and then ending the day with a camp fire at night enjoying some cold beers.
