About Me

I am currently in a committed, open relationship. I am primarily looking for just new friends ,but also down for dating too depending if we click. I consider myself pretty self aware but always trying to grow as a person. I would describe myself as mellow and easy going. Occasionally introverted but enjoy having some good laughs. I like to try to live a healthy life. I am a vegetarian, and try to eat healthy, enjoy being active, going to the gym, and doing outdoor activities. I am a bit of a hippy at heart. I enjoy shopping at thrift stores, try to buy stuff used when I can. I also enjoy making my own soaps and cleaning products etc to limit some of the chemicals from my life. I enjoy my sci fi, Star Trek, Firefly, Doctor Who, Sliders etc, but don't really watch much TV.In my free time I enjoy going out to a pub or patio for a pint, reading poems or a good book in a coffee shop, relaxing in my yard, or checking out a cool trail with my doggy. I can't wait for summer to go camping and paddling. An open minded woman with a good head on her shoulders is the sexiest thing around, in my books. I don't like to focus too much on "whats your type" or "whats your style" in terms of categorizing your gender identity and style of dress. I wear what catches my attention and feels comfy, and pretty much follow the same requirements when dating in terms of what my type is. I think we focus too much on placing each other into categories in order to form an "identity", and ive been guilty of this in the past myself too, but I think the queer community and myself included need to stop limiting ourselves and others. I don't want to complain about the general population putting LGBTQ members "into boxes", and then go around and do the exact same by creating our own boxes and cliques. Noone is 100% anything, and that goes for sexuality, gender, and style...we are all just a tapestry of various parts that form the individual, and this is fluid. We need to embrace ourselves and our uniqueness, and continue to embrace it as it evolves. ...Hope you're still with me! I can ramble, although hopefully coherently. If any of this peaks your interest, drop me a line!*please send more than "hi", or "whats up"...chances are I wont bother to reply if you don't bother to attempt to actually initiate a dialogue. "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid".

I\'m honest, trusting, and loyal. If I like something I will tell you. If I don’t like something I will tell you. Not looking for someone to take care of me and or someone else. We all should make it on our own steam.
