About Me

I recently graduated with my degree in counseling psychology. I have two great jobs which I enjoy. Some might classify me as a psychotic overachiever at all these things, but I prefer motivated and dedicated?! Work and working out take up a lot of time for me but relaxing or letting loose is a must have in my life. This can come in the form of backyard BBQ's, going for drinks, getting all dolled up and going out on the town for the night, or kickin' it in sweats while watching a movie... and am always up for a new challenge. I love to travel, my desire to travel sparked from a 6 week long trip to Africa in which I saw 5 countries. Seeing the wonders the world has to offer fueled my passion.I would say most describe me as extremely outgoing, driven, caring, motivated, athletic, and responsible. I want someone I can be myself with (no makeup and all), laugh at ourselves and eachother. Someone who is smart and has aspirations for what they want in life. Someone I can talk to for hours but we can also sit in silence comfortably. Someone I can hike a mountain with, in this country or another, but can also enjoy a lazy day. Well first off, I love food. The saying "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach"...also applies to me :)However I love getting out and doing something on a date. Whether it's a walk down town, taking a drive up the Monument, hiking, take on the aqaurium or zoo, anything that gives us a chance to talk and get to know each other in a less formal setting. I'm always in to try new things, I might look a little freaked out but don't mind the facial expression I'll drive in and try it, minus super spicy foods (not really my thing).

    What can I say? I have never really been great at summaries. Well to begin with, I love to travel and have been to 46 states in the US. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to travel out of country though I am dying to do so and I have my passport, so that's a start.) I am an artist, therefore I absolutely love any form of art whether it's music, dance, painting, the opera or other visual arts. I also love theater and have had a riot in every play I have been a part of. I am athletic and love to play any sport, though basketball is my favorite. I also like to watch soccer and football. I love a first-class movie or television show. I must tell you I am a BBC Sherlock fan; if you aren’t aware of this show, you’re missing out! This can also be said of Doctor Who.I have a great fondness for literature. Jane Austen is one of my favorites, and I must confess that for some time I have been completely fixated on her writings. I also enjoy Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, any Robin McKinley book and a number of others.
