Let's be honest. You're probably not going to take the words I write on my profile seriously. You're going to probably read over it in order to get talking points about something you're probably not interested in anyway. So, I'm not going to write much here. However, I will be completely honest. My biggest pet peeve is when people go by the dating books. It drives me nuts. If you care more about "getting girls" then finding someone you can truly be happy with, then I suggest you try going to a bar. I'm not here because I'm desperate for a boyfriend. I've lived happily single most of my life and I enjoy being by myself. I'm here because I am curious about whether or not I can find a real connection with someone or not.People play these dating games all the time. The ridiculous "You'll never know anything about me because I'm so mysterious" game where everyone loses in the end is the most annoying. That kind of game just makes you waste years of your life dating someone who isn't right for you because neither person in the relationship can bare being honest with their partner because they are afraid that they will lose the game. If someone isn't going to accept you for who you are, you might as well not waste time pretending you are someone you are not.About me? I'm a frugal person. I don't believe in spending unnecessary money on useless items. I don't like how people kill flowers and give them to their lovers as presents. The flowers will wilt in a few days. "It's the thought that counts," but thoughts are pretty cheap. You can still buy them for a penny. Why waste money on something that isn't going to last? Aren't memories more important? Memories are priceless, yet cost nothing. They take a moment to make and a lifetime to forget. My hobbies include watching film, exploring, learning about different cultures and learning new languages. My only dream is to travel, and I plan to do so whenever an opportunity arises. Optimists argue the glass is half full, pessimists argue that the glass is half empty. Me? I'm an opportunist. I argue that the glass is empty, because I drank it while those two were arguing about philosophy. Things are what they are and there's no point in arguing about who is right and who is wrong. If someone said they wanted to go on a road trip, I'm the kind of person that would arrive an hour later with my bags in the trunk.I'm not stupid enough to say that I don't judge books by their cover. The human mind does that in an *** you even realizing it. You see someone and you will *** an imaginary story about that person. What's more important than looks is how you present yourself. One person can wear a thousand different outfits, and other people will make judgements based on those outfits and the manners that they have. I'm looking for someone mature enough to understand what a real relationship is, smart enough to keep up with me and that I can connect with. For a first date, I would probably want something simple. I'm a very independent and frugal person. I don't like people spending money on me because I have my pride. My perfect first date would probably just be a cup of coffee and a good conversation or maybe some kind of museum. As long as the first date is inexpensive and can allow for conversation, I'm not very picky.
