Like many of you I am new to this whole sell yourself routine. I'll try to keep it short and ramble free as I have been known to ramble from time to time. :)I've now passed the one year mark of living in Kelowna and I am loving life here. This was my first full summer here and it was fantastic, just not quite long enough :D I've made some great friends here and am open to making more. I have two jobs at opposite ends of the spectrum ***is an office type job and the other is working on a farm. I love being able to work both inside and outside, with my hands and with my head, and in a professional environment as well as a casual one. I am an open minded person and I love being exposed to new things. I can be somewhat of a creature of habit, but I do believe variety is the spice of life. I live my life based on the idea of balance so I like to think that explains my varying ideas and points of view. Silly meetville forced me to make a selection for each category but we all know that doesn't always fully answer a question so don't let my answers deter you. If you want to know something ask. Honesty is something that I value greatly and I practice what I preach. I am a sentimental person and love having memorable experiences so I'm hoping to meet some new people and make some great memories.

At the moment I'm completing my bachelor of health sciences at SFU and I'll be starting my master's in population health in the fall, also at SFU. Possibly.Outside of academia, I'm very much sports-driven. My true love is ultimate frisbee which I play competitively, as well, I'm a lightweight on the SFU varsity rowing team. I love racket sports, although I am absolutely awful at them. I'm always open to trying out new sports. Well, except for volleyball. That sport is just masochistic. How do they not have broken fingers/forearms after every practice?!In terms of interests, I love dance. I wish I knew how to, but I love watching it. I also love watching sports. I'm not into the club scene much and I don't enjoy bars or getting wasted. I would much rather a fun boardgame night with some friends, a movie night, or going to a good comedy show.As for my personality, I'm outgoing, not masculine nor particularly feminine, and I enjoy humour quite a bit.
