About Me

I'm a very easy going person, and I try to keep life simple. I like to hang out with friends, play the piano, read, go out and do something... I don't mind sitting in at night and watching a movie, or going out and having a good time with friends. I'm working on my masters in teaching, and will graduate in May. I want to meet people. Whether that becomes a relationship or simply friends/dating, I'm open. I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for in someone, but maybe that's simply because I haven't met the right person yet. My philosophy in life is Hakunamatata. As Atticus Finch would say, "It's not time to worry yet". I try to keep things uncomplicated. I like to say that you can learn everything about me in a day, yet still learn something new each day for a lifetime. (Simple, yet with depth.) My family is extremely important to me. I come from a strong background, and want something similar for myself whenever I eventually settle down. My faith is also important to me. I have a traditional mentality, meaning that, while I'm not a girly girl, I like when guys open the door for me, and I can appreciate a gentleman. I like to get out of the house and do things outside. I don't know a whole lot of outdoorsy people, so I don't often get the chance, but I love trying new things. I'm not a "go to the movies" first date person. I want to get to know the other person, not just sit quietly; not yet at least.
