About Me

I thought I'd give this a shot. I work full time and that keeps me pretty busy, I spend the rest of my time with friends, doing things around my apartment, working out etc. I like to stay busy but really enjoy having some down time. Definitely more likely to spend a night in then out on the town. I'm pretty much over my clubbing phase, I'd much rather go to a pub or have people over. I'm not looking to rush into anything, *** things slower to see if anything worth while develops. Sense of humor is a must, I tend to be be sarcastic or have a dry/darker sense of humor. I lean towards being an optimist or realist and as such am pretty laid back, it takes a lot to get me down. I can be indecisive but will make decisions if its important. My taste in music is all over the map, I like a bit of everything. I'm done with school for now and have my two degrees but I'm taking things slow with my career since teaching can be so hard to get into. Some random likes. Thunderstorms, movies, traveling, singing alone in my car, road trips, late night laughs, playgrounds at nighttime. Also the main thing my brain is good for is holding on to tons of random trivia, song lyrics and movie quotes.

    I am bubbly, easy going, and laid back. I get along very well with people. I am a single mom and very independent. I am looking for someone to get to know and see where things go. If Im going to be honest I am not a sporty person at all. I am absolutely terrible at sports I cant throw or catch or anything like that but I do love to watch football. I often find myself getting distracted if Im out with friends somewhere and a game is on. I love animals unfortunately I live in an apartment that doesnt allow pets so the closest thing I have to a pet is fish. Im a little nervous around big dogs but as long as they let me warm up to them slowly I always end up loving them. As a single working Mom I dont have a ton of free time and its very important to me that anyone I may end up spending time with understands that my daughter comes first. Sometimes getting a babysitter just isnt possible and if Im not ready to introduce someone to her then I obviously am not always available to meet up. Protecting her is my main concern. I think its pretty safe to assume I spend alot of nights at home. Im not a bar goer, when I go out with friends I prefer to go to places where you can sit down and hang out, have a few drinks, and actually be able to have a conversation with the person across the table. Maybe a little bit of karaoke (if Im having a good night.) I am a responsible drinker I always know when I have hit my limit and when to stop. I dont do drugs and Im not intrested in being involved with anyone who does drugs. I dont like being around it and I do not allow it in my home or around my kid.
