....okay, so today's my birthday, I've turned 46. What am I to wish for before I blow out the candles?Jan 15th - I've been away for a while, I want to apologize to those who have contacted me. My mother was in the hospital the whole month of December, we then put her in hospice earlier this month and she has passed on the 13th. I'm a fun guy who works to live. Life is too short to not enjoy it and the people you are with. I'm a kid at heart and want someone that knows when to not be serious.I'm a business owner, but make all the time necessary to enjoy life. My son is in college, enjoying his college life. We lost his mother to cancer in ***. It's pretty much been he and I since then. It was certainly bittersweet helping him move in to his dorm room. I'm certainly man enough to say I cried that night. All that being said, I have time for you. :)I stay fit by working out at the gym at least three times a week. I play soccer and softball in leagues. I want you to be fit and active as well.Okay, so I've been on here too long, too many first dates; lots of interesting ***, certainly some interesting reads on the profiles. It would appear there are some very annoying and critical men on here *** ladies. Hopefully that's not jading any of you. There really are some nice guys still out there. Hellooo!I definitely agree with many of you that there is no way to possibly get to know someone through reading their profile, and others in that technology and texting are ruining the ability to verbally communicate. You certainly can't tell if there is any chemistry or passion through a screen.Getting together for a drink, maybe a margarita and chips, or even a coffee if you'd rather. 'Why not caramels' is a great movie line but probably not long lasting enough to converse over. :) (do you know which movie?)Other interests include sports, exercise, spending a day in the mountains, or the beach. I've been wanting to take a bike ride (motorcycle, not mountain bike) north ga through NC. Or taking the wrangler out to enjoy the sun, wind in the hair (your hair anyway) (I love my Jeep Wrangler, it's my summer car, I don't want to ever put the soft top on, I don't have a hard top) (new update, Nov '12, I finally bought a Porsche ***Carrera 4, convertible, not a new one, I don't buy new cars, I generally buy a few years old, anyway...it will probably (definitely) be driven more than the Wrangler, I'm just sayin')Grilling out on the back deck with friends. Cooking together, sharing a bottle of wine. Staying in bed once in awhile...for a reason. ;) And not getting out!Here's one I saw on a profile and was like wow, that should definitely be an interest...kissing. Kissing me should definitely be one of your interests, don't you think? You should definitely be a good kisser, and enjoy kissing. How is that not an interest on everyone's profile??
