About Me

Oh no I have to write. Feels like a home work assignment. I guess I will get graded if i was to not get any responses. Lol. Ok then. Here I go. Some of my hobbies / interest are I like to stay fit. I hit the gym more in the winter but in the summer I like to get out and attend outdoor activities. Some of witch include festivals downtown. Live music is fun. Especially outside. I do like dancing. I like to run / jog and on occasion I have trained for some 5 and 10k races. One time I did run a 25k. Scratch that off my bucket list. I do like to find things I haven't done before. I think traveling to new places is important as well as trying new and different food. I like old house. I think that's because I have a interest in history. One of my hobbies is working on my old house downtown near the river. I don't live there yet but maybe someday. It's getting swallowed up by downtown so that's pretty exciting. Due to a motorcycle crash I retired early. At first I didn't think I would like it but was I ever mistaken. I have been enjoying life more then I ever have. I sometimes feel like I'm in high school again only on a different level. My kids are grown up and I can work when I want but I can play when I want too. In closing I have a lot of other interest and things I would like experience. If you would like to know more just ask. Lets decide together after we have met and find out we like each other

    I am an introvert (even tho personality tests state the opposite...hmm), but I love to laugh and make the most out of the time I have with those closest to me. I'm not afraid to be out and about in social events but, if I'm going to be outside, I prefer to be on my boat, taking a casual bike ride, or out enjoying nature. I love my Catholic faith and the amazing walk I have had in trusting God (even when things were not so good...He raised me up!). I like the life He has blessed me with. I believe God reveals Himself powerfully through His creation and I love being in His presence outdoors. I am a military retiree and currently work in civil service. I loved being a husband and a good father to my two boys (now young men) very much. Both of my sons live out of state and my youngest is a senior in college. I am close with my boys and talk to them frequently. Life really is giving me a fresh start with new possibilities. I enjoy going out for a nice evening, but am just as content cooking an intimate dinner and watching a movie at home. I absolutely love to travel and explore beautiful places (not really the Vegas getaway kind of guy). I enjoy occasional dancing to country music, going to hockey games, driving along the beach to see AMAZING sunsets, and time spent with my family. I like to hike to new places, ride my bike, kneeboard and ski (when I can), camp, and go fishing. I like most types of music (Rock, Metal, Blues, Jazz, Christian rock, Country...not big on pop and rap).I have an idea about the qualities I am looking for in a woman, but God's hand has surprised me in what I don't know before, and there may be someone out there for me that I never even imagined. My only request is that you truly feel good about who you are and have a hopeful outlook about your life even when days aren't so good. I'll leave the rest in His hands.
