It has occurred to me that since more people read these short essays than I first thought, I figured that maybe I should provide a little more detail, however I still believe that most people men and women make their initial decision based off of looks. However if someone sees a picture of someone that appeals to them I guess that reading a little bit about that person is a good next step; if for no other reason to see if that person can type in complete sentences with proper spelling. At this point I guess I should say a little about myself so here goes. First off I have a stable career, and have been employed by the same company for almost 27 years. My job has recently allowed me to travel to Europe quite a bit in the last two years. I have also been to Haiti twice in the past two years on mission trips, and these trips really helped me to see just how good we have it here. I look forward to a return trip ASAP. I am an extremely giving person and will give until it hurts if I know the receiver truly appreciates it. For those of you who are familiar with the five love languages the one I speak the most is acts of service. I would rather show you how I feel than tell you however I am working on doing a better job of verbalizing my feelings also. If we ever meet you may have to tell me to shut up or I may talk your ear off. My interest are quite varied, and I can feel at home in many different settings be it a trip to a flea market or a classical music concert dressed to the nines. Last but certainly not least I'm looking for someone who can be a friend first, and I don't mean FWB or bed buddy or booty call or one night stand. If I have learned nothing else it is this; a relationship that is based on sex too early is like a house built on sand, it will not survive once the first storm comes along, it will simply wash away. Something both people can agree on that makes you feel safe. We can work out the details if we get to that point.

Oh no I have to write. Feels like a home work assignment. I guess I will get graded if i was to not get any responses. Lol. Ok then. Here I go. Some of my hobbies / interest are I like to stay fit. I hit the gym more in the winter but in the summer I like to get out and attend outdoor activities. Some of witch include festivals downtown. Live music is fun. Especially outside. I do like dancing. I like to run / jog and on occasion I have trained for some 5 and 10k races. One time I did run a 25k. Scratch that off my bucket list. I do like to find things I haven't done before. I think traveling to new places is important as well as trying new and different food. I like old house. I think that's because I have a interest in history. One of my hobbies is working on my old house downtown near the river. I don't live there yet but maybe someday. It's getting swallowed up by downtown so that's pretty exciting. Due to a motorcycle crash I retired early. At first I didn't think I would like it but was I ever mistaken. I have been enjoying life more then I ever have. I sometimes feel like I'm in high school again only on a different level. My kids are grown up and I can work when I want but I can play when I want too.
