It has occurred to me that since more people read these short essays than I first thought, I figured that maybe I should provide a little more detail, however I still believe that most people men and women make their initial decision based off of looks. However if someone sees a picture of someone that appeals to them I guess that reading a little bit about that person is a good next step; if for no other reason to see if that person can type in complete sentences with proper spelling. At this point I guess I should say a little about myself so here goes. First off I have a stable career, and have been employed by the same company for almost 27 years. My job has recently allowed me to travel to Europe quite a bit in the last two years. I have also been to Haiti twice in the past two years on mission trips, and these trips really helped me to see just how good we have it here. I look forward to a return trip ASAP. I am an extremely giving person and will give until it hurts if I know the receiver truly appreciates it. For those of you who are familiar with the five love languages the one I speak the most is acts of service. I would rather show you how I feel than tell you however I am working on doing a better job of verbalizing my feelings also. If we ever meet you may have to tell me to shut up or I may talk your ear off. My interest are quite varied, and I can feel at home in many different settings be it a trip to a flea market or a classical music concert dressed to the nines. Last but certainly not least I'm looking for someone who can be a friend first, and I don't mean FWB or bed buddy or booty call or one night stand. If I have learned nothing else it is this; a relationship that is based on sex too early is like a house built on sand, it will not survive once the first storm comes along, it will simply wash away. Something both people can agree on that makes you feel safe. We can work out the details if we get to that point.

I am unique, adventurous & spontaneous. I think about things from a different point of view and refuse to grow old quietly without ever meeting the one person that is destined to be my soulmate. I do not dwell in the past but try to remain right here in the moment. We have all made some bad choices at some point in our lives, I look at them as learning experiences and then move on. I don't waste my time worrying about the small meaningless stuff that will never add up to anything... Honesty, faithfulness, caring, understanding and enjoying life are what matters to me. I think everyone wants to meet someone attractive but that is kind of shallow if you think about it. I do believe that there is so much more to a person than what you see on the outside. If we get a chance to meet I am willing to bet that you will smile and afterward think to yourself, that was a really nice guy. So I do the right thing every chance I get and at the end of the day I never have to second-guess myself... I'm a joker (clownfish) and I really enjoy making people laugh. I try to enjoy myself wherever I go, at the races, bowling, concerts, the movies, dining out, singing karaoke or out for a motorcycle ride it doesn't really matter where I am I try to make the best of it and enjoy life to the fullest extent... I've been blessed with a good career and a great family. I have a firm sense of family values & I love kids. I include them in some of my outings, but I also believe in romance time as well... So if I were a used car I would suggest that you kick my tires and take me out for a spin, that is the only way to find out for sure if I am worth it, besides you might just enjoy the ride for a change... FIRST DATE, WELL THAT COULD BE JUST ABOUT ANYTHING FUN. I GUESS I WOULD SUGGEST A NICE DINNER OUT PERHAPS A COUPLE OF SOCIAL DRINKS TOGETHER, MAYBE SOME KARAOKE AND GET TO KNOW MORE ABOUT EACH OTHER THEN SEE WHERE THAT LEADS US. I AM VERY OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS AND WILLING TO CONSIDER JUST ABOUT ANYTHING FUN...
