I have to give that answer about "Do you want children" question. I answered "Undecided/open" because I do not want it to appear that I will not date a woman with children. The truth is I would if it's the right woman. plus I have 2 younger ones myself. I'm not looking to jump right into something serious. i want to take the time or finding the right person. If we hit it off and start dating than that's great! We can let that take us to the next step. I just want to make sure that we both know what we want from one another. I like to go to the gym but haven't been heavy into it lately. I like to bike ride, hike, camp, boat, more like an adventure seeker just need the right person to do that with me. I also like to hang at home and watch a movie with a bottle of wine and do some light talking or barbecue. I'm an easy going guy and I get along with everyone. I like to joke around and be a little sarcastic. I love to have fun and enjoy meeting new people. I'm not much into going to bar scene to meet someone hence I'm here on meetville. But I don't mind going out to dance or a dive bar for some pool.I have 2 beautiful children that are on a joint custody, a beautiful 8 year old girl who is my princess and my 6 year old boy who is my buddy. They mean the world to me. Their mom and I get along so as there isn't any drama between us.My type of woman is someone who wants a best friend and confidant. Someone who is not scared to open up their feelings and allows me to do the same. Most important of all is sharing mutual respect and listening to each other. Not just lending an ear to talk to but intently listening to one another without interrupting and showing that you actually care of what one another are talking about.     It has occurred to me that since more people read these short essays than I first thought, I figured that maybe I should provide a little more detail, however I still believe that most people men and women make their initial decision based off of looks. However if someone sees a picture of someone that appeals to them I guess that reading a little bit about that person is a good next step; if for no other reason to see if that person can type in complete sentences with proper spelling. At this point I guess I should say a little about myself so here goes. First off I have a stable career, and have been employed by the same company for almost 27 years. My job has recently allowed me to travel to Europe quite a bit in the last two years. I have also been to Haiti twice in the past two years on mission trips, and these trips really helped me to see just how good we have it here. I look forward to a return trip ASAP. I am an extremely giving person and will give until it hurts if I know the receiver truly appreciates it. For those of you who are familiar with the five love languages the one I speak the most is acts of service. I would rather show you how I feel than tell you however I am working on doing a better job of verbalizing my feelings also. If we ever meet you may have to tell me to shut up or I may talk your ear off. My interest are quite varied, and I can feel at home in many different settings be it a trip to a flea market or a classical music concert dressed to the nines. Last but certainly not least I'm looking for someone who can be a friend first, and I don't mean FWB or bed buddy or booty call or one night stand. If I have learned nothing else it is this; a relationship that is based on sex too early is like a house built on sand, it will not survive once the first storm comes along, it will simply wash away. Something both people can agree on that makes you feel safe. We can work out the details if we get to that point.
