First off, I think it's conceivable that the person I hope to find, may not be conveniently located in "my own back yard" so to speak. Being somewhat open and flexible on that possibility, may result in me looking in locations that range to places I'm familiar with; like; or have lived or worked. I'd ask that you keep an open mind on geographic possibilities, as will I. You could be surprised :-) I probably sound like I'm either contradictory or well rounded, and each can make sense. I have such a broad range of things that I enjoy, or things that interest me, that I can usually find something to do, or something to like about anywhere I am at a given point in time. Good companionship can make most anything more enjoyable, and I'd like doing things together frequently with the right person. On the flip side though, I am quite comfortable with doing things on my own, and spending time on my own, so if you need your "space" at times, I can take off by myself :-) I often lean more towards outdoor things, such as bike riding, boating, hiking, camping, motorcycling, snow skiing, or just plain exploring/investigating/enjoying my surroundings :-) I can also really enjoy going out on the town, as well as spending time at home. A candle-lit dinner made at home (I can cook it), with good music in the background; good conversation; or a movie or games together (Not mind games), can make for some very nice times. I relate to kids quite well, and seem to always be pretty popular with nieces, nephews, friend's children, and even stranger's kids. I suspect the fact that I like to "play", is something that children appreciate in me. Enjoy life like a child, but be a responsible adult is what I would say. Communication is very important to me. I would hope that a person spending much time with me, would be able to, at the bare minimum, make honest efforts at communication. I know that this is not always easy, and I certainly have times when I could use improvement in expressing myself, but, I have a belief that if two people care enough about each other to try and understand one another, and talk things out, much good can come from it, and many problems can be avoided all together, or worked out before they damage a relationship or a friendship. Does trying this sound acceptable to you? If you tend to routinely use "The silent treatment" as a long term method to deal with issues, we're probably not a very good match. I want to be able to talk with my partner, friend, etc. I'd also like an ability in another to carry an intelligent conversation at times. I'm not looking for a "rocket scientist" (Although I'd certainly not turn one down!), but for a person who's somewhat informed on current events; the environment; a hobby or personal passion; history; human nature, etc. I don't mean that you'd need to be aware of all of those things, but I'd like someone that I can learn from, as they could hopefully learn from me. That being said, I'm also pretty silly or goofy at times too. Variety :-) I like manners, and usually choose not to spend too much time around consistently rude people. I like romance and touch, both in giving and receiving, and expect these things to go both ways, at some point, with the right person. Chivalry is part of the deal too. Doors will be opened for you; your chair pulled out; dragons and monsters and bad guys fought off, OH MY!I can communicate easily with most, and try and treat people with respect.If you've made it this far, thanks for reading :-)

Its alway tough describing your self but lets give it a shot. I'm Adventurous, Down to Earth, Easy going, Financially stable, Funny, Honest, with a Great Sense of Humor, ( A little wacky at times) lol.
