I'm not like anyone you've ever met before. Unless you've already met me... stalker. :-) Sure, I could bore you with delusions of how wonderful I am, but lets face it, I'm sure you've already read this about two hundred times in all the other profiles... I believe that actions speak louder than words, so why bother? A lot of people have told me that I'm "special" or "gifted". I think they're jealous that I can count to 10, or 20 with my shoes off, and even to 22 in the shower. (don't ask) Anywhoo... I surround myself with optimistic people who are going somewhere in life, and no, I don't mean KFC. I'm very open-minded with an international outlook, a risk- taker who is always up for a new adventure. I love dogs, beaches, meaningful conversations, and self improvement. I keep very busy and love my life. I don't have the time or inclination to date everyone under the sun anymore, and I have no problem meeting people. I'm extremely selective, and am just fine if I don't meet anyone on here... BUT, if you're someone really really really special, I'd love to have you along for the ride and make our already great lives that much better. There's something very special about you. You are curious about the world around you. You can take a joke and are not easily offended. You believe that sarcasm is a spice of life. You can spell (without using spell check), and are generally happy. You want to see the world and travel, love to kiss, you cuddle like a cat on the sofa. Hello there! I moved here to take on a new job and am looking to meet someone to date and hopefully have a relationship with. I am divorced now for a bit over 3 years and have 3 kids that are older. I am a non smoker, but will date someone who is an occasional smoker but who is also considerate about it as well. I am a social drinker, and prefer to date someone who is also a social drinker as I do like to have a****ail when out and about, or out to dinner. I consider myself very easy going, easy to talk to, down to earth, very NON shallow, non judgemental, outgoing, playful, and have a great sense of humor. I know there are all types out there and there is someone for everyone, but I MUST have someone who has a great and wicked sense of humor. I love to laugh and am very playful and would like someone who is the same. If you are shy, we probably won't click, because I don't like to be the one to always carry the conversation, or have to pull a conversation out of you. Not being judgemental here either, but if you profile is riddled with misspelled words, we probably won't click either. I don't expect to meet someone who is a Mensa member, but average intelligence is definitely preferable! :) Now......what is the deal with people that have more pics on their profiles, of their dogs, cats, sunsets, gardens, rocks, and other objects besides themselves??? LOL. I mean come on....i want to see YOU, possibly date YOU, not your pets. I also don't understand the women who post multiple bikini pics, or pics of your overflowing cleavage. lol. I AM a man and definitely love the female body, but this just conveys to me that you are quite into yourself perhaps.....not to mention that you are appearing to want to be judged on your body alone and maybe a bit on the shallow side. I would assume that you get many disrespectful responses that offend you, and then you wonder why? lol. Also, I was raised Catholic and am a "believer", but not a regular church goer. I totally respect and admire people that live by the bible and strive each day to live sin free.....but I am a realist and accept that I am a sinner and far from perfect. I accept I cannot live a sin free life......I am IMPERFECT and human, I cuss, i get angry, have impure thoughts, etc. I accept it and live each day being happy with myself. Could I be better.....sure, but I am still a good person overall compared to some. So if you are a devout and strict Christian, although I DO respect you and admire you greatly, if you are easily offended at a number of things.....then we probably won't click and I wish you well and luck on your search. :) I am also proud to say that I am a now a 5 year Head and Neck cancer survivor. Proud to say I am officially "cured" as of now. :)There is much more to learn about me....so if I have sparked your interest so far, let's talk!! :)
