I have found most of what I want in life, looking for that last piece. I am at a career level that I am comfortable with, I have my dream house, many good friends, am active in the community but what I don't have is someone special to share it with.I enjoy going out to hear live bands (blues, classic rock, 80's, and more). I go camping nearly monthly. Most things outdoors I enjoy. I have nearly an acre just off the lake and enjoy my share of bonfires and boating. I have a decent size vegatable garden that I generally take pride in and do a lot of canning, especially in the fall. I know how and enjoy cooking for others. Hanging out with friends whether at a bonfire, concert, bowling or just at the house is nice and relaxing. Though fair season is over, I do enjoy all the little fairs the towns put on. I'd like to put what I am looking for in someone to date, but it always seems to vary. I would like someone relatively stable, someone that would like to go out and have fun - motivate me a bit more in that direction, but is ok at home too. Someone that can carry on intelligent conversations and call bs if it should be called. Someone that enjoys outdoors. I haven't found myself attracted to the 'fashinistas", more the down to earth, girl next door types. I don't care what they do for a living, as long as they do something. I am not a sugar daddy, but will spoil the right one. I'd like someone independent, but who wants me to be in their life, not a side dish. I do not care for bigots or those on the far right, a little more tolerance for those on the far left. I'm in the middle. Now all of this I will never know at the first meeting, probably not the 2nd either. It is something that develops overtime. So while I am not a serial dater, it may take a few dates to see if we have something that is right for both of us. While love at first sight is wonderful, it is the exception rather than the rule. Lust maybe, but not love. If I haven't scared you off yet, send me a note. I'm the one that got away. Something we agree to. I like simple, such as coffee or ice cream. An atmosphere that lets us size up each other, talk a bit. Maybe someplace that offers adult beverages. I find one or two will make me a bit more talkative, though I don't generally have trouble opening my mouth. We'll talk.

Hello, I am 47 years young, am divorced,single father who sees my children often and is involved in there lives forever, been torn down and rebuilt a stong person inside and out. I have 2 daughters to whom I would give up my life for in a heart beat. The coolest thing for a parent is to live you childrens life through there eyes. I consider myself a romantic, compassionate person. I am a touchy feely person I have no issues with showing affection. I love to hold hands, walk arm and arm, you know all of that 16 year old thing we use to do but forgot about. I am a open book and have no issues with self expression. I belive that communication, honesty and the most important I want the person that I am with to be my best friend, are the key to a successful relationship. I belive that love is unconditional no matter what. Am not the richest man in the world but I live a rich life. God is a part of my life he has carried my more than once however I do not consider myself a fanatic about it. I can look in the mirror every morning and say that I have been honest with myslef. I am looking to share all of my experiences with someone and at the same time share in all of there experiences.I am looking for a long term relationship and want to find my soul mate, but also like taking it a day at a time. I believe that true love is when 2 people can look each other in the eyes say no words and know exactly what is going on with each other. My partner will always know that I am not going anywhere I would be there for them no matter what they could always count on me for what ever it takes. I am very family orientated and believe that love is thicker than water. I want to live life to the fullest and share it with someone who I know would be very happy being with me. I treat the woman that is with me with respect and dignity and most of all like a lady. I do not believe in shouting matches talking it out it the best thing for me and if I need to leave it alone then revisit then that is ok too and we would not go to bed mad and of course what is the best part of a fight the making up. I enjoy the small things in life, i enjoy giving and the coolest thing that I like to do is to give flowers very cool. I want to share my joys with my partner and share in there joys and sharing in my partners joys would be very cool. I do not play games life is to short for that. I do not condone cheating I feel that cheating is unforgivable. I speak from my heart happens to be the same heart I wear on my sleeve sometimes. I enjoy being the kid inside of me but I hold true to my obligations.I like to take long drives to no where however ever with that special someone then it is very outstanding.I like to go out or simply cuddle on the couch and watch a good movie with some popcorn and some junk food LOL. I do not take my date to a movie you cannot talk in the movie theater. I would do some dinner,or a pinic in the park, I want to be able to talk and get to know the person that is in front of me. I want to be able to ask questions and hold consversation with that person. I want know what is inside of them. I like go out and enjoy the person that I am with. Go dancing, granted I am a horrible dancer LOL but that is ok. Simply go out and enjoy each other. Sometimes the best plan is no plan. Casual time. Walk in the park.
