Man. 50 years old. Zodiac sign: Pisces.
Looking for: woman. In age: 47-57
I am a divorced dad of two great girls. Both my daughters are in school to be nurses and I am proud of what they are both accomplishing. My youngest before moving back home was a starting varsity athlete in soccer and softball at her college, and my oldest is a great mom and wife; It is weird being an "empty nester" and it is great being a grandfather (I don't think I am old enough, but it is way cool!).Work keeps me busy, exposes me to a variety of challenges, and allows me to visit different parts of the country. My girls are important to me and have been my focus for many years; I have no regrets that I made them the center of my world. With them grown it is time for me to use my additional time to explore my next chapter. I want balance and that will include my faith, my family, my work, my friends, and hopefully a special person to share all of life with.Speaking of balance I try to get to church every week, spend time with my LIFE Group, and do daily devotions and journaling. I go to church to express my faith and to worship. I am imperfect and the church I go to is imperfect too (I think no church is perfect and it is Christ that makes it a special experience). I find it as a place to get recharged, to get perspective, and to sometimes get a better understanding about the craziness of life. Over the years it has also been a great place to serve others. I feel my relationship with Christ is important but I don’t think church or faith is something that should be forced on anyone; I need to work on myself and be a good friend to others. When I can I try to work out and recharge; I don’t go often enough! I also like hiking, camping, goofing off in the park, watching the Crew, and watching the Buckeyes. I like most movie types, trivia, time with family, and being a bit sarcastic/ witty. It is fun to get together with family or friends and cook too (be it a backyard cookout, appetizers during a game, or a holiday meal). My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because it is only about family, giving thanks, and food with no other pressures.Ways to hang out could almost be endless since I am always willing to try something new. I enjoy eating out (Starliner Diner, Pei Wei's, Rusty Bucket, First Watch and beyond), going to off the wall places (like Jungle Jim’ Staying home is fun (hanging out with someone and maybe with wine), shopping (I found the clearance area at Target), festivals and hops (art festivals, Comfest, Gallery Hop). Hanging out at home can be just talking, chess, or even playing Wii.If my profile sparks an interest drop me a line. I am looking for a long term relationship that starts as friends, is centered on faith, and includes lots of fun time together. Time that could be cooking together, enjoying wine, a quick road trip, or dinner out and maybe Shadowbox for laughs. It can include talking on the patio or over the phone; it is very cool when a relationship includes praying together be it at meals or over the phone at night to say goodnight. And with summer here it is a great chance to hit festivals together like the art festival, Comfest, or some local made up festival that celebrates violets or something. Be blessed, thanks for reading my profile, and I hope you find the person right for you!

Man. 48 years old. Zodiac sign: Aquarius.
Looking for: woman. In age: 45-55
-free, respectable SWF for friendship and dating. Ultimately looking for an LTR. B.S.E.E. (E.E. stands for electrical (engineering) and professional degree. 6'1", ***lbs. Teenage daughter in college lives out of state. Can't say that I particularly enjoy working out, but I lift weights regularly to stay in shape. Would like to add cardio with a like-minded partner. My hobbies include house projects. I like building things - I have spent a good bit of free time over the past few years finishing my basement. It includes a music studio, weight room, a theater room, kitchen area, eating/tasting area, and I just completed a wine cellar. I don't like yard maintenance, but I do it because I have to. I also like cars. I have a couple of old muscle cars that I tinker with and restore, but one of them I use as a daily driver when the weather is good. I also keep current with politics. It's good to have insight on the economy, since politics heavily influences it. Also, it's is interesting to see things play out just like the founding fathers predicted they would, and it's fascinating to see how the roadblocks they baked into the Constitution are being tested.Politically, my viewpoints are rooted in freedom and liberty from intrusive government. No way would I ever vote for anyone like BO. But, I could not vote for McCain either - I was literally scratching my head while standing at the voting booth, but in the end voted for the Libertarian candidate.Musically, I like most music as long as it is good. Having said (written) that, like most people, I mainly like the music I grew up with in high school and college - so 80s rock mainly. But, I also love jazz, which is timeless for the most part, and I enjoy classical too. Not into modern punk, rap, or modern so-called R&B.I don't attend church regularly, but always enjoy it and feel good when I do.I live a long way from where I work, so I spend a lot of time commuting. I like animals, but not big on living with indoor pets. As far as a first date, although ordinary, I think dinner or drinks is a low pressure, low loudness way to do something everyone has in common and talk too.
