Hello. Life is awesome!!! I need someone to share it with. I am searching for a loving, committed relationship with someone who has the capacity to love one person deeply. I realize many of you have been burned by some jerk. I have been burned by a Jerkette (lol), however, if you are just wondering, or playing around with this, or just looking for a one-night stand, please pass me by. My father has been devoted to the same woman for well over 30 years. Their relationship has been an inspiration to me and showed me how great life can be if you are with a woman that gives back to you as you give to her. They love each other and take care of each other. That is what I am looking for. I consider a relationship with one woman as a "team of two" and I am looking for a team player. I have to say that I have been very disappointed with the women I have met on this site in that regard. So many women that pride themselves on their independence and their attitude of "I can take a man or leave him". Bravo! But, that is not the type of woman I am searching for. I am the type that enjoys the comfort of living (eventually*lol) with someone that I love and trust. I am looking for someone who is capable of living without a man, but, does NOT want to. So, though I am sure these statements will scare off many potential dates, that's ok. Please don't waste our time. You know where I am coming from. Some people are meant to be alone with their pets, and some aren't. I fall in the latter category. Despite all this, I am not a controlling man. I encourage my partner to do things that make her happy. I hope to be a part of much of it, but, certainly not all of it.I drink lightly and have never been unfaithful. Something about me: I like looking at all nature above and below the water, warm water, walking, seeing a dog wag it's tail, occasional dinner out, movies that make you think about life, listening to live mellow music, and water sports. Love to landscape and fix up houses. Just sold mine elsewhere and will be buying very soon. Also, will be buying a boat once that house is purchased. I consider myself retired from my prior career of property management, however, I do work at times to keep busy and socialize and will very likely work again soon..... or maybe not. I eat healthy and try to exercise to stay fit and TRIM. With that, I am looking for the same in my partner. I try to make my partner happy. I am honest, monogamous, have morals and high ethical standards.....I am someone who is conscious of doing the "right thing" at all times. Though the majority of the time I am serious, I have my moments of silliness and being goofy, when the occasion is right. I do not like arguing or drama. I am a communicator and value that in a relationship. Loyalty, faithfulness, honesty, trust and mutual respect are very important to me once a relationship becomes exclusive. Things I do for fun: Viewing nature above and below the water, Scrabble or Words with Friends, walking/hiking, walking dogs, Football Sundays, movies out, movies in, snuggling, relaxing, looking at the stars, looking at the water, being in the warm water, snorkeling or diving, biking, bocce ball, making dinner for two, road trips, visiting my mom and dad, shopping for deals, garage sales, landscaping, gardening, growing plants, fixing up a house, kayaking, looking at homes for sale and neighborhoodsHope to hear from you. Have a nice day, either way. Definitely something like a bike ride or a walk. Maybe a drink. NO dinners on the first meeting. Tired of feeling used in that way. I promise you lots of dinners if you feel some chemistry and we get together a 2nd time. Sorry it has to be this way.
