Throwing my hat into the ring is a bit unnerving since.... I need my hat! I can only tell you how I see myself, so keep in mind, this opinion is skewed, and a rough exercise of self-actualization. I think of myself as flexible (mind not body), but goal oriented. My energy level is high, and my interests are wide. I consider myself well educated and I have depth of knowledge in some areas. In other areas, I am clueless, so the pink wedge in Trivial pursuit is particularly hard for me to get. I like to pay attention and think about big ideas and trends.; one of my favorite quotes is “Humanity is a race between education and catastrophe” (it looks like we are losing that one).To list all my attributes and try to describe my “ideal” match would be futile. There are so many intangibles that make the exercise incomplete. It’s kind of writing a business plan…as soon as you finish it, you put it away and never refer to it. And if you do peak at it, there are only disappointments. Life is a forever moving landscape, trying to stick to my prior self, or pretending to know what I want, isn’t for me. My relationship with you is multi-dimensional, so to try to script what experience, activity or occasion will make for good times might be relevant, but in my mind, the pathway of discovery is more fun.I will give you a little of my history....I was raised in an academic family. We didn’t have a lot of money, but we had an intellectual richness. My parents divorced when I was in college, and that didn’t affect me much. I have one sister with husband and two kids. My career has been rewarding, and I have many objectives yet to be fulfilled. Like most, some key individuals in my life have left me with some gifts. Here are a few key moments:- living in Europe as a freshman in High School- Finding myself in College- Raising 3 wonderful human beings- Founding an selling a business- Providing Health care in Haiti- Helping people walkI’m a straight shooter and feel that “life is very short, and there's no time, for fussing and fighting my friends” I won’t play mind games with you, so please don’t play mind games with me. Special useless skills that I have developed:-Unicycling while dribbling a basketball-Bi-tonal call with single tone variation.-Identifying a Mockingbird with my eyes closed.-Dashboard rhythm -Pulling a Lobster out of a trap bare handed.One of the boxes I checked shows up as hunting/fishing. I have actually never been hunting, but I guess target shooting is fun. Firstly I am a very funny guy so if you love to laugh then we are part way there. Next children and large dogs love me. Small dogs, I am batting 500. I have led a very active life. My parents were Austrian immigrants so skiing, hiking and mountain climbing all started at a very early age and is still a big part of my life today. I am honest and faithful. I am looking for someone to have fun with. What happens happens. I do love music and try to surround my self with it all day long. I am a very curious about a great many things and am still learning and for that I am grateful. Also I have a passion for photography. Well, I'm outgoing, kind, honest, and loyal. I love animals, but don't have any at this time. I go out quite a bit. I like live music, be it big concerts or local bands. I like to go to dance clubs... for dancing. I'm big into festivals, and I have a Harley, so I go to alot of bike rallies. I'd love to find someone that would share some of my interests, cause it's not as much fun without that special someone to enjoy it with me.
