50 year old computer tech with 25 years experience and 4 years of component level electronics. Basically electrical, mechanical hardware/software natural troubleshooter. An expert at playing the devil's advocate. Always seems like I get to be the sounding board for my friends relationships and problems. I used to say that the definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Now it appears that my giving of advice is well within the confines of my definition. I love to play on words. I'm one of those individuals that can twist anything said in my proximity into either a joke, sarcastic remark or sexual innuendo. That side of my personality is what I call my Ripper mode and once started I'm relentless and merciless. It's all in fun, I like to remind people to watch their words and put some thought into what they say. Most speak before thinking. A really good conversation is priceless in my book, as there are so very few truly interesting people around nowadays. I feel that finding a partner, mate or friend who's working with me and not against me is what we are all looking for. Two heads are better than one as are multiple points of view when working towards a common goal. Relationships are almost never a ***thing. They are always in a state of constant flux. And you can never go and force something as that corrupts the natural state of things. Loyalty and honesty are what one should be able to count on. We age (unfortunately). People want to see what you look like *now*, not when you were a young hottie. I deleted my old pics and replaced them with current photos. Sure, I used to look younger/better, but it's not right to use photos that are not accurate. Know what I mean? Usually, I prefer to meet for coffee or a drink the first time. After that, it could be anything from a sporting event to dinner out, dinner in, etc. It's all about getting to know each other and seeing if there is or is not chemistry present.
