I live on a houseboat andt the only real hobby I have is windsurfing. Ive been doing that for about 20 years and Im still not really good at it but it is challenging. I get a sense of freedom when I feel the power of the wind guiding me accross the water with its own purpose and direction. Life has a way of pushing us in the direction that it wants to weather we like it or not and windsurfing is a time that I can aknowledge and enjoy not being in charge.I want to be happy and feel a sense of purpose in my life. I certainly want to be a good father. I hope to be a good husband and partner some day as well. I am a familly man and life simply is rather unfulfilled without sharing within a familly. I believe that lifes blessings are magnified and felt deaper within the context of being shared with familly. All my best memories are intertwined with familly and most of my best growth and developement has come about by the joys and challenges experienced with or for my loved ones. I care about being a good provider and yet have learned that money doesnt replace friendship and love. Nor does it justify a lack of respect and attention to others. Money simply buys more time and if that time isnt invested in those you love then youll allways be bankrupt. A painful leason Ive had to learn. I care deaply about how my actions and words make others feel. We are all fallible and make mistakes but mean words and actions scar others lives and can never be undone no matter how sorry we are. I believe that in order to truely love I must be willing to care about how my words and actions make others feel. The beach is one of my all time favorite places on the planet. I wish I could spend more time there with familly and friends. Im athletic but not a body builder or jock. What I call Television sports have never really interested me and I certainly wouldnt actually pay extra money to the cable company to watch some sports played by other peaple. I dont have any interest in living acomplishments through other peaple.I like clasic rock and r and b. Top 40 type stuff from the 80s and 90s. I love to dance so would love to find someone to crash wedding parties with. It seems that they are the only place to dance anymore. Country music is good too. First date to me is a place to meet up and do something that interest both of us. Cant talk at the movies and I wouldnt make much of an impresion talking over a plate of spaghetti. A simple picnic at the beach during the day or night would be better followed by some great sex would be a better way to get to know each other. Just kidding.......Had to lighten this up a little. I do like the beach and picnic thing though. Dinners and dancing is good when we know a little about each other and have good reason to be smiling so much. Hope to have the privilege of hearing from a sweet lady soon.
