Hi there!Right ...I may be a bit on the shy side when it comes to meeting new people, but when I do know the people I am with I can be quite extroverted. I LOVE to make people laugh and think the capacity to laugh is one of the greatest gifts that people have. Laugh with me, laugh at me, laugh behind my back ... I really don't care. Just LAUGH!I also like to play and love being outdoors. I do not think that life can be best experienced staring at a television screen, so I keep that 'activity' to a minimum.“We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” So, although I am 47 according to the calendar, I sometimes have a hard time thinking of myself as being the age that I am.I am very honest (maybe to a fault), reliable, strive to maintain integrity and can be trusted. This would be a good time to inject another favorite quote, "Do what is right; let the consequences follow". In general I am happy with who I am, but not enough to keep myself from trying to improve.I am not currently formally affiliated with any organized church, but strive to conduct myself as a Christian each and every day. Also, I am making a somewhat sincere effort to grow in this area. I know this may ruffle some feathers, but I'm not completely unconvinced that sometimes organized religion can get in the way ... 'nuff said.Although I don’t mind my own company, I really do want to find someone special to share my life with moving forward. I don’t expect to find that someone right off the bat, and would prefer to date casually and let a potential relationship develop in its own time. I am hoping to meet women with a similar no-rush/no-pressure approach to dating and relationships. However, once a relationship has begun I would be fully committed to it and would appreciate the same in return.I tend to find myself attracted to women who possess some mix of the following qualities: like to laugh (goofy/silly are pluses), don't put on heirs/are comfortable in their own skin, are not overly infatuated with appearance, take care of themselves physically and emotionally, enjoy an active/adventurous lifestyle, are somewhat independent, are kind but don't let themselves get pushed around, and have appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue at least once in the last 10 years. OK, so the last one was a joke;).     For starters, it sure seems difficult to find a lot of things to talk about yourself- I'm not really the boastful type I guess.
