If your looking for a long term relationship great, but it seems alot of women are just on here to see if they still "got it".I am wonderful... Blah blah blah... I'm sure if your reading this every guy says the same thing! It's so cliche, so lets try real honesty! I am a guy, my first impression is what I see (yes very shallow), but it gets us to read your profile. I look for buzz words and yes I hate to say it but I've dated a few gals that were more interested in my checking account balance than me, yes we all want wonderful things in our lives but if I have to sell a kidney to afford your Christmas present it's not gonna work! If you have kids or a ex, you have some drama in your life. Sometimes it's ok to eat food that's bad for you, yes it's important to eat right but a dish of ice cream ain't gonna kill you. I don't judge others or care to be judged. Sometimes spending time apart is ok, we don't have to be connected at the hip. Yes I could or need to drop a few, I have gray hair, and a few scars, I guess you could call me seasoned. What can I say I have lived a great life with only a few regrets...Ok now the nice version. Honesty is so important, it's the foundation for true love. You can tell the truth without being so blunt it hurts someone you care about. I work hard and want the best for my partner, but not at the expense of our relationship. Money seems to cause fights if you are foolish with it. We all have baggage and scars in our lives, it's ok we have a past relationships and a history, but it is about the future that's why we are here. I am fortunate to get along with my ex-wife and have great kids. My 15 year old son lives with me, he is a gentleman and very respectful to others. I like to eat right but it's ok to indulge, I think it's natural to occasionally enjoy a guilty pleasure. I am passive but protective of others, I believe God gave each of us a purpose and we live our lives on how he intended and the best we know how. The last thing is trust each other, just knowing that when we are apart I will be thinking about you and looking forward to the next time i get yo see you. Just get to talk over coffee or a meal, maybe walk at the zoo. Really in the big picture I always consider the first date an interview for the second... Relax be ourselves we will know if everything clicks

ok, lets get the basics out of the way -; i am the father to two amazing kids who bring so much joy to my life. i have a great job that is both personally and professionally fulfilling.i am here on this site because i am finalizing my divorce and it's time to move on. i am ready, willing and able to commit to someone or just take our time and see what happens. ultimately it depends on the connection anyway, my feeling about this online dating is this - it's really no different that in person, if you see someone that interests you or you are attracted to, you say hello, if we connect great, if we don't, then I guess we each know it and we move on. i am not looking to waste anyone's timewhat do I like?- being outside, enjoying the beach, being on a boat; the intracoastal, biking, paddleboarding. I want to learn to surf, I figure as long I live on the beach, I might as well learn to surf. I like any place with good live music - bars/lounges/tiki huts, etc- is there any place with bad live music? I am a big sports fan, but not a crazy one. I just started watching Breaking Bad...i know, the series just ended but I heard so much about it I decided I needed to download the first couple seasons and check it out....I keep myself in good shape by doing something for exercise every day and eating right. I am not fanatical about it, just the way I live my life. don't get me wrong, I can enjoy a good unhealthy meal as well as anyone, just not every day...i love hole in the wall places with great food, good atmosphere and no attitudeswhat am I? honest, faithful, a gentleman; considerate; affectionate; romantic; outgoingwhat am I not? I am not a player; I don't hang out in clubs; I am not looking to see how many dates I can have. I don't play games. I am not a stalker and will not harass you if you don't respond to a message I send thru match. what am I looking for? well, I guess the same thing most everyone else is - a true partner in life. someone I can laugh with and enjoy the quiet and the loud moments. someone to share each other's interests and you just genuinely want to be withhere are some of my favorite places -...we could do a get to know you type like a drink or coffee, and leave room/time for more if things go well...we could meet for lunch or we could do a more traditional dinner date...all ok with me, ultimately, if the connection is there it wont make a difference because we wont want it to end....if the connection is not there, then the check can't come fast enough! kidding....
