About Me

I try to keep an open-mind about everything I do in life. Now about me, I'm 47 as you already know. I lived all over this country and have visited other countries for long periods of time. However I'm home now and have no plans leveling again anytime soon. This not to say, I don't want to explore the world even more, but maybe just not as much or as long. I guess its true , you can take the boy out of his country, but you can never take the country out of the boy. I have accomplished many goals in my life and yes there are still others that I haven't reached but with my faith in God I shall/will reach them all. My hobbies are the activities I do in the present , either it's fishing, camping out under the stars or talking to my friends.. etc.., I try to enjoy the moment, but to say I like just one thing isn't me. One might say I'm like M&M's, there's a lots of bright colors when you open the bag but always sweet in the middle. My taste of music, is 80's pop but that not to say I don't listen to the other kind as well. I have been know to listen to classical and even heavy metal. It really depends on the mood I'm in. I could lie to you and say I'm a rich man and I have everything I desire in life, Like driving a new car and living in a big house on top of the hill, but again that's not me now. Besides I have had all these things and found that I wasn't happy at all. I'm just the average Jo you see everyday on the street, trying to make each day better then the last one for myself and those around me. I get my happiness from helping others. I'm a big fan of "Pay Forward." A little about the things I have done, I started working at age 11 where I learned how to work on automobiles and then moved up to working on million dollar aircraft's while in the USAF. Then I started building homes and maintaining rental property. One might say I'm a great handyman to have around. I can almost fix anything, if I have my head screwed on right. Then I became a firefighter & first-responder. Lord, the stories I could tell you. Next, stepping stone in my life I was given the opportunity to attend college and grad school, and after six long painful years, they said I couldn't learn anything else and then said I was graduated and run me away. So, now I have these pieces of papers that hangs on my wall saying I'm able to help others. I let you in a secrete, I was able to to do this even before I got them, but tell anyone, they might come take them off my wall and they really look good hang there. However, the best job I have ever had has been being a father to my three children. Like most women and men on here, my children are my world and they will always come first but that's not to say I don't have room in my heart for that one special lady who I can call my angel.     Update: I did not really take this too seriously , based on my profile a few people said I was arrogant and racist . That could not be farther from the truth. Guess I am not good at describing myself, just trying to have a little fun. I am emotional and have a positive outlook on life. Like everyone else, I have had many good and bad experiences in life and would like to think I learned from them. I am a good person, loyal, faithful and respectful. I still believe in the simple things like opening a door for someone. I have a great sense of humor, although it's a bit sarcastic. We can discuss all life’s disappointments, failures, difficult experiences, flaws , health issues, mental issues, annoying habits, addictions and all the other secrets that helped define who we are...after desert.Preferences:I seem to have an attraction to South American woman. It's not just their exotic features; their loyalty and passion are traits that are important to me. Obviously, there are woman from all cultures that have these traits...guess it seems to be difficult from me to find them.-flattering way). I am not into woman over 50, thick or hygienically challenged from your teeth to your toes AND especially if you don\Anyway, we all have preferences some are deal breakers and some are not. Well balanced , intelligent , attractive (average), average body style, no mental issues, under 50...I am interested.If nothing else, I hope I was able to entertain you for a few minutes...I am trying to give back to the meetville community. It has been a source of entertainment from time to time. After all, it's just a bunch of words.On a serious note it would be great to meet someone to share adventures with.. And eventually ...possibly share love .... Without cheating part. Somewhere with good (romantic or fun) atmosphere, soft lighting, quiet, great food.. Learn as much as I can about you while looking into your eyes. Share some laughs, smiles and be left thinking about you when Iwake up the next morning .
