Hi, thanks for taking the time to read my profile ...as everyone says... its difficult writing about you and it is; not really good at selling myself maybe I am just shy LOL.. I have been asked what is it I'm I looking for in my ideal woman?......Well: someone who is fun, a laugh, likes life and living it to the full, and generally knows what they want (very important), and doesn't judge their future on their past or partners, everyone is different? And a big thing is to be able to give and take, no one and nothing is perfect in life.Here goes.....I am told I am kind, easy going, fun loving and I think a romantic at heart, if I admit it. I have a mind of my own and say what I think, but do take the other person's feelings into consideration, I am honest and tell you how it is, and honesty is the best policy.I suppose my greatest contribution to a friendship/relationship will be my enthusiastic nature.I have a tendency to approach things using common sense, and I have an outgoing style/nature which enables me to get along well with others. Because I have high energy and a mobile disposition, I can bring a sense of excitement, fun and adventure to a relationship.I still work to hard but play hard to if that makes sense?( I now know I work to live! took me ages to work that one out, which cost me my marriage! monies not everything.. but life is). I have a good sense of humour, and maybe a bit mad like you,(aren't we all a little?). I definitely like to have a laugh; like to go out and not too fussy where; enjoy good holidays, and life in general as it’s too short! ... “No point waiting till tomorrow if you can do it today"! I am privileged to have travelled extensively around the world when younger, and still have the bug, and enjoy going away on the spur of the moment if I can grab time.I would love to meet someone who is honest and, especially, reliable. The Meaning Of Life......is to live it how you want to, be who you want to, love how you want to be loved, treat others how you'd want to be treated yourself, never settle for 2nd best, but most of all...be happy!!The quirk that I appreciate in others is being yourself, don’t be something you’re not just to impress others. You don’t have to be an icon, just be yourself, and someone that wants to be loved. Life is too short to be lonely and there are plenty of people who probably think you are a great person actually!! I'm a relatively normal guy, laid back, and easy to get on with. I am generally an optimistic person, who enjoys a laugh. I like to go to music and comedy gigs when I get a chance, whether that is down the local or to a big arena. Also enjoy going to new places on holiday at least once or twice a year. I do work hard, and hold down a decent job, but do not put it in front of the rest of my life. I'd be more than happy to date someone with children (I was a respite Foster Carer for a couple of years - at weekends - before I separated from my wife).; Western or Heavy Metal not in my collection. I am particularly a fan of Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. I also am partial to a good film, with a similarly varied collection of DVD’s.I am not generally looking for a particular type of woman, but must be someone who is quite cheerful, and doesn't take life too seriously. Finally, having given up smoking almost five years ago, I would like to avoid temptation, so wouldn't want to meet any regular smokers. Really don't have a preference, as it's more about the person I'm with, but something fun would be cool. I've got one or two ideas !!!
