About Me

I am a very openminded and romantic man, was married for 12 years and divorced on good terms 2 years ago. Am very practical and can lay my hands on most things.Can entertain!.... but I am not photogenic at all, so expect better when you meet me. Women have called me sexi but not sure about that..haha!I am working as a teacher, but am also a trained builder and am interested in architecture as well as a sustainable future. I temporarily live on a narrow boat on the Kennet Canal from where i see so much wildlife; kingfishers with small fish in their beaks, Cormorants and many more..its wonderfull. I have two gorgeous children, girl 11yo and boy 13yo and see them about 50% so have some free evenings and week-ends.Am very cuddly and love Sunday mornings in bed with a croissant and 'the Observer', a luxury.....I am a beginner sailor and ski very well going to Swtzerland my Country of birth twice a year. I enjoy regular holidays in Spain in a lovely Villa with swimmimg pool, near Denia. I have traveled extensively and have been on 4 different continents enjoying different cultures and costomes.I love my job in a private school and have a lovely Class of ***yo's following a wonderfull curiculum described by Rudolf Steiner ***years ago. Its very absorbing but I love every minute of it!Love Italian food and don't mind curry houses and go out eating about once a week when I am fedup cooking or just to enjoy.Always wanted more children as it is my passion but it takes two for that so I would love to extend my family with 1 or more children. I am a very confident and loving father and tell my children a made up story every night.....must be several thausand by now, they really love it and gives them a small insight into their dads soul!My Plan is to renovate or build a wonderful house in Portugal or the like (in a nice warm climate) dreams...I am looking for a switched on woman, proffesional or not... who loves traveling and loves children, mountains, walks.I do not want to rush into a new relationship but get to know you slowly and develop it from there.I will respond to any messages short or long!!! As I know how difficult it can be to write one..only a bit of decency and its polite!!! ;-) Walk and talk, or sit in a cafe drinking cafe latte, easy and slowly does it for me... unless!

Part of me still hasn't grown up but I'm still mature and responsible, most of the time anyway. I'm kind, caring, fun, enjoy laughing, I am relaxed and sensitive. I'm generally outgoing, but can be a little shy if I particularly like someone.I have not given up on life and am constantly seeking new adventures to which end I took the step of quiting work 3 years ago to spend a year in the Carribean to explore my passion for diving and to do volunteer marine survey research. I then spent 3 months in the Bahamas doing further marine research with 'Greenforce' another volunteer charity. I came back 2 years ago (grudgingly due to lack of funds). I have to say its the kind of adventure I would love to do again, though not perhaps for the full year?The travelling has made me re-evaluate the important things in life and I have become more relaxed in my outlook as a result.I have friends who are very important to me, some are female and I love them dearly as friends. I consider myself to be honest, reliable and trustworthy and do my best to live up to these ideals but I am not perfect and would never claim to be. I have made mistakes in the past and hope that I have learned from them. What am i looking for, i wish I knew, a fun, uncomplicated, adventurous spirit with a sense of humour to share adventures would be a great start. I am looking for that special person, but am not in a great hurry. I very much appreciate a beautiful smile and sparkling eyes or is that sparkling smile and beautiful eyes.I have an addiction to tea.Any of the above or indeed anything else.
