I wish to make friends and am also hopeful that perhaps a friendship might develop into a romantic, committed relationship. I have a calm temperament, good sense of humor and am quite laid back. I don't enjoy drama in a relationship lest it come in the form of discovery of new things as we pursue our various interests together. My definition of a relationship is two people sharing their lives with one another and encouraging and supporting one another - not ownership of each other. Mutual interests are wonderful but for those interests that don't overlap and that make us unique individuals these too should be celebrated. If I like to golf and you haven't tried it then perhaps try it a few times and if it still isn't your cup of tea then simply encourage my hobby. If you like to sky dive or bunji jump, well...enjoy yourself and I will be part of your ground crew. :)I'm not into bars at all and have always been only a social drinker. No drugs, no harrowing high wire acts. However, when with a partner I like to try out new restaurants and different wines, from diners to fine dining and when the need to be a homebody strikes, then a nice backyard BBQ just enjoying one another's company or with the company of friends and family. This is an area I love and frequent often.I don't want a party girl, barfly or drama queen. I would simply like to find someone kind and fun with an honest heart and clear mind who simply wants to find love and enjoy life as happily as it will allow. Frankly, there seem to be a lot of angry women on this site while others have vague nothings in their profiles. Not certain how that works out when trying to entice someone to be interested but perhaps saying nothing is better than saying too much. I would prefer you get a sense of who I am right now while you read this lengthy monologue. If it doesn't work for you...no harm, no foul and no wasted effort. If you consider yourself one of those "direct" women who speaks their minds and damn the torpedoes and comes across as very aggressive and only remotely feminine, please pass me by. I don't want to date a man with breasts. :) I like feminine, not submissive, not misogynistic, but gender appropriate. If you can swear like a trucker and display road rage, please point your compass to north and exit my airspace. If the extent of your conversational ability is "OMG...and Really?" or "Wow, really?" or..."Like, really?"...well...nuff said.If you have a discreet lil tattoo, cool, (I don't and wouldn't) but if your body looks like an inked version of the Sistine Chapel please pass me by and best of luck to you. Cutest tattoo I ever saw was a little stickman pushing a lawnmower...think about it...took me a second as well. Thank goodness it wasn't on her back.Umm...I don't mudbog and am not a "bad boy" so if you prefer this type...enjoy the heartache but please look elsewhere for it. I should also add that I've read a few profiles on here and if you think you are "special" because you are attractive or buxom and "deserve" more exclusively because of your appearance (you know who you are) then please pass me by. I have known ugly beautiful women and beautiful women who weren't classically lovely.The most beautiful women I have ever known accepted their appearance gracefully and were aware of only how blessed they were to be so attractive yet embarrassed by the attention.Also, I don't like hockey (what?...how is this possible?...yeah yeah...I know) but if you do I will go to the games you wish to see and enjoy your enthusiasm. I will almost always be up for doing things. I wish I could say that I have defined interests but I just kind of do things as the opportunity arises. I enjoy keeping busy with whatever seems interesting to do. Have an idea? Lets go. Road trip...ok. Weekend getaway? Perfect. Vacation to sunny climes or cultural photo ops? Lets plan it! I will go shopping with you as well as oddly I am the rare male that actually enjoys shopping with a partner (yes, I'm straight...lol) and like being asked my opinion as she tries things on. You should enjoy going to Home Depot with me though as I like home improvement projects. :)Just like most people I enjoy travel and would truly enjoy the company of a wonderful partner when doing so. I get quite a bit of vacation time and like to use it to best advantage and there are many parts of the world I still need to see. Care to join in?A good conversationalist will get me every time and if you combine it with a quick wit and a little flirtation you will soften my heart in no time. Dimples are a definite plus. I know myself well and for the right woman will do almost anything to assist in our happiness so long as she can reciprocate. Better to say things up front and never start than to stay quiet and waste years. I also realize that too many variables exist in life to subscribe to defined lists and wants but if you read something here that strikes a chord with you then perhaps we have the beginnings of a small spark.
