I'm interested in finding someone to share my life with. I teach and have put so much energy into that, that I seem to have very little for anything else. (I'm trying very hard to remedy that.) I enjoy board games. puzzles, role games, working in the house and yard (but not necessarily a homebody), sightseeing and reading (mostly fantasy, Sci-Fi and historical) but find myself planted in front of the TV and computer far too much. It's on my to-do list... I have many close friends but we don't have to have alcohol to be goofy. The elliptical at the gym is becoming my friend and I've started enjoying hiking. I actually went fly fishing last summer, although I didn't have much luck, but it's a great excuse to be outside and enjoying nature. I like to go camping but haven't for a long time Got all the gear but the summer seems to melt away far too quickly and the next thing I know, I'm back at school teaching. I enjoy BBQing and keeping people well fed and happy. I would like to have kids. I've been teaching everyone else's and figure it's time for my own family. I enjoy going to church but don't make it every Sunday... I enjoy a large variety of music from classic rock to metal to country but tend to find myself listening to soundtracks more often than not. I am a horrible romantic although I'm really out of practice and would I like to find someone to grow old with. Something simple without the pressure of the 'first date'. Something where we can get to know each other and become friends.

hopefully you get the seinfeld reference in my headline not that there's anything wrong with that!i see myself as an average, active, happy guy who hasn't yet found the woman to spend the best years of his life with. i am sarcastic, silly, stable and probably immature for my age. but that keeps you young, right?i enjoy playing sand volleyball, the theatre (not musicals though), movies, cooking, spending time with friends, sports, live music and exploring. whether it be a bookstore, or a path off the beaten track, i love to discover new things - especially about myself.i'd like to meet a good friend that i enjoy spending time with. someone who is as cool with drinking a beer at a dive bar, watching a game, playing board games with friends, or getting away for a weekend; as they are with a fancy dinner and a bottle of wine. but of course, with whom there is a mutual physical attraction. you would think that'd be easy to find! i've never been married, but would like to be; and i'm okay with children. i have plenty of nieces and nephews and i've always felt i would be a good dad. take you to meet my parents. their approval is of utmost importance. of course, they don't always feel the same about my dates. mom likes girls like her; and that's the last thing dad likes! hopefully, you realize this is not serious. if not, then there is no sense in us dating. actually, a low-key evening, perhaps over drinks, having a conversation and getting all the preliminary questions answered. you know the ones, like; how long ago was your photo taken? any restraining orders? are those real? ideally, i'd choose bowling. it happens to be a great first date. just ask me and i'll explain.of course, let's start with a couple of ***, maybe a chat, a phone call, etc. so it's not like we're going on a blind date. looking for a date this weekend. first one to *** answer to this question, will be asked to join me.would rather be seen by one stranger, totally naked, while taking a shower; or have your skirt ripped off by an escalator at a crowded mall?
