I need help organizing for my many hobbies, interests and the daily things in life. I prefer to be organized but life seems to get in the way and a helpmate might just be the thing to make life better.My preference in to be generous but I conserve in some ways to be generous in others. I like to help my community by using my God given gifts to help or benefit others. I have raised my girls to be a blessing to others. My newer skill has been BBQ with a sophisticated electronic wood smoker, effectively cooking over fire in a convection oven. The meats I like to slowly, tenderly and gently smoke are Brisket for 10 hours, (cut into that and it's like succulent tender pinkness), pork ribs fall off the bone, whole chickens that are golden brown on the outside and tender as you carve it. I like to cook Asian. Sushi, Chinese or Thai too. I sometimes cook for ***I'm versatile in the kitchen or wherever you need me to be.I enjoy sharp, well produced prepared cooking shows and I like creating the perfect artistic meal as my avocation.-I also like classic shows like Sound of Music and Fiddler on the Roof.My musical tastes are varied. I like good beats. I depends where we are but a first date to me is a way to get to know if there is something there to proceed onto. I should be planned together so you can tell your friends or family and you can feel safe that they know where you are with a stranger. That's what I would tell my daughters. Plenty of conversation and dialog in both directions. We'll both be watching to see what we see without a judging attitude. That date might be dinner and a movie, a coffee and a walk or drinks and a good night kiss. Depends on how things go. I've never been too concerned about a first date as they normally go well. I've not dated a whole bunch but its like an interview, if you do it occasionally you're ready for the right one when it comes along.

I feel like I'm writing my bio for a gameshow or something. I'm a divorced father and have custody of my 12 year-old son. I'm into sports, especially football. I'm not the type to insist on staying in all weekend watching football, but I really don't like to miss an Eagles game. I am interested in history, especially Civil War history. Sometimes - ok, a lot of times - true stories can be more interesting than fiction. I'm interested in photography and certain art (not really into modern art and some of these weird things that are just pieces of stuff thrown together.) There are a few TV shows that I watch often --O and maybe a couple others. I like to laugh and love to make others laugh, but can be serious when I need to be (or should I say When you need me to be.) I like a variety of music & movies, especially comedy and action. I love being near the ocean - definitely a beach person. As soon as I feel the salt air I can feel my mood change. On the other hand, I also like spending time in the mountains -; Can't wait to go again. I don't have pets right now, but I love animals. After the divorce I had to give up our dog because of moving to an apartment. I really miss him, but at least we found him a good home. Well, I think the first date should be something simple. Someplace where we could talk but it isn't quite like we're interviewing each other for a job. You know, enough to have a good time but still learn enough to know if we'd like to see each other again.
