I like all kinds of movies, from comedies, to action flicks, to dramas, and romantic comedies.I have 3 kids that I love unconditionally. Two are grown and doing great living their own lives, while the teenager that I share custody of is also doing great and has begun high school. I'm extremely proud of all 3 children, and couldn't be happier with the quality young adults they've become. A first date should be comfortable, no pressure, enjoyable. I also think it should be kept simple. A meeting for coffee and a long chat somewhere convenient...or getting together at a public park for a walk and talk, with some time sitting on a bench people-watching...or even going to a local pub in the evening for a drink and appetizer so we can have a chat with each other. Wherever we decide, the focus would be on talking to each other to learn if there's enough there to have a second date.

I need help organizing for my many hobbies, interests and the daily things in life. I prefer to be organized but life seems to get in the way and a helpmate might just be the thing to make life better.My preference in to be generous but I conserve in some ways to be generous in others. I like to help my community by using my God given gifts to help or benefit others. I have raised my girls to be a blessing to others. My newer skill has been BBQ with a sophisticated electronic wood smoker, effectively cooking over fire in a convection oven. The meats I like to slowly, tenderly and gently smoke are Brisket for 10 hours, (cut into that and it's like succulent tender pinkness), pork ribs fall off the bone, whole chickens that are golden brown on the outside and tender as you carve it. I like to cook Asian. Sushi, Chinese or Thai too. I sometimes cook for ***I'm versatile in the kitchen or wherever you need me to be.I enjoy sharp, well produced prepared cooking shows and I like creating the perfect artistic meal as my avocation.-I also like classic shows like Sound of Music and Fiddler on the Roof.My musical tastes are varied. I like good beats. I depends where we are but a first date to me is a way to get to know if there is something there to proceed onto. I should be planned together so you can tell your friends or family and you can feel safe that they know where you are with a stranger. That's what I would tell my daughters. Plenty of conversation and dialog in both directions. We'll both be watching to see what we see without a judging attitude. That date might be dinner and a movie, a coffee and a walk or drinks and a good night kiss. Depends on how things go. I've never been too concerned about a first date as they normally go well. I've not dated a whole bunch but its like an interview, if you do it occasionally you're ready for the right one when it comes along.
