First and foremost, I am a gentleman (thanks to my father who is French) desiring to meet someone who has similar values and passions. I'm compassionate, affectionate, trustworthy, and definitely not a hopeless, but rather a hopeful romantic. I am a good conversationalist as well as a keen listener, therefore, communication with me usually is not an issue. My personal belief for a relationship to be successful, there must be an affinity that move two people in unison, share similar values, and envision living in what I regard to be, "a shared peace". I do not have a specific type that would be considered ideal, although, certain character traits are preferred. I am interested in meeting a sincere, confident, and passionate woman with a definite sense of humor who does not live a sedentary lifestyle. Affectionate, trusting, outgoing, kind, emotionally available, with a strong sense of family values are all qualities which are very much welcomed. In addition to this, optimism, balance in one's everyday life, genuinely loves to travel, and fluency in the English language are very important to me. Simply said, I am looking for someone who strives for true happiness in a relationship and is aware of what it entails. As far as an activity for our first meeting, I imagine I would keep it really simple and book a 10 to 14 day voyage on the cruise line of your choice to the Eastern Caribbean or the Mediterranean, or possibly spend an entire weekend at the Hard Rock Casino in front of a blackjack table while chain smoking cigarettes and finding a parlor to get matching tattoos. Please keep in mind, what was aforementioned was me being silly, especially since I do not gamble, smoke or ever have any intention to doodle on my body. :) Realistically, it all depends on what two people agree on and it would be quite nice if we got along really well.

So to start, the beard is gone. Use it for winter protection when I work in the polar regions.I would rather spend a day in the tall grass than the streets of a city, but every-so-often I need a city visit for ethnic restaraunts and food, movies and book stores. I would rather cook at home than be disappointed at a restaurant. I would rather spend Saturday evening listening to Jazz and reading than at a bar or party.I love the country and trees but have no interest in noise or anything that distracts from the pleasure of feeling a warm breeze passing your body as you listen to the babbling of a bobolink. Spent five days in Mendoza, the wine region of Argentina this past winter; what could be better than wine and beef. Pretty cool to see Haight/Ashbury.Am currently working on the start of a cerificate to teach adult learners and working on a professional designation as well as some certifications. Just recently finished a TOSEL course.
