I have been here before a few years ago...and I am back again. Life is short and as we all know we sometimes make decisions that aren't always the right ones. But hopefully we learn from those decisions and make better ones in the future. My philosophy in life has changed and continues to evolve as my life goes on and I learn and grow. I am at a point now where I feel that I have to make the best of it. When we make the best of whatever we are focused upon, our future will be better than our now. If at each moment we are making the best of what is, no matter what it is, your future just gets better and better!!!!I am seeking to meet new and interesting people.....whatever happens, happens for a reason and in every moment there is a whole new set of new ideas, new adventures and new desires being born.Now for a bit about me and what I am looking for. I am a unique and wonderful individual with a multifaceted personality, just like everybody else. I am looking for a unique and multifaceted female who is wonderful just like me. They can be a little flaky, like fine French pastry, but not too flaky. They should also enjoy star gazing, discussing people and the way they are as opposed to the way they should be towards one another, the rules of society and the roles and restrictions they do or do not agree with, world politics, the meaning of life and as well enjoying playing a game of pool or three and the odd game of chess. And if you don’t know how to play chess then at least be open enough to give an honest attempt at trying to learn. I am an an avid reader and like to discuss the books and authors I have read. What and who have you read and enjoyed? I am looking for that certain someone who I can start a conversation with that just never ends……………I do hope that I have caught your attention thus far and you can sense that I have a playful, quirky sense of humor. I have most of my own teeth, have a great relationship with my mother and wear nice shiny shoes. lol I like to laugh and enjoy music of all types, watching movies, going for walks, riding bikes and sharing a bottle of wine or a glass of root beer with a candle light dinner. And for those that are wondering, I CAN cook the dinner myself. I am an excellent preparer of hot spicy foods and other cuisine as well and even know how to do the dishes afterwards, but I do enjoy sharing the dish duties while we converse on other things.Must like animals and children. Must like conversation. Must have a quirky sense of humor and a sarcastic wit in order to defend themselves against mine. But also must be sensitive and caring enough to not be TOO sarcastic and permanently damage or crush my fragile male ego. Oh there are a great many options to do on a first date, it all depends on the season, the weather and our moods and what we are up for. Perhaps the conservative and traditional meet and greet over a cup of coffee or tea. Or maybe a dinner at a restaurant that one of us has never been to but the other one highly recommends. We could do the “your place or mine” with the host providing their own favorite specialty for the others dining pleasure. And I am a DAM good cook. A fun shopping date at one of the local malls, downtown stores or even a book store and/or video store browsing session depending on our moods and what we need to purchase, though grocery shopping would be very low on that list. I am up for ANYTHING but a MOVIE date for a first date. Where else can you go to sit in the dark with a stranger, totally *** for two hours, learn nothing about them and yet leave the theatre and wonder if you actually had some sort of connection? Well those are my thoughts and opinions on a first date. Perhaps save the movie date for the second or third date if the first date goes well enough.
