I love music and my musical tastes can run the gambit from rock to pop, from country to classical, from reggae to blues. You could say I appreciate the arts because I like movies, theater and art work almost as much as music.I've traveled around the U.S. a bit mostly for my job. In a past life I lived in Japan for a year (I worked for one of the major Japanese auto makers). Trying out new restaurants can be an adventure. I'm always up for trying a new sushi joint that won't bankrupt me or send me to the emergency room (no that has never happened). I'll always be a bit of a student of life - the day you stop learning is the day you start dying a little bit. I'm goal oriented but not to the point where its a singular focus and detracts from what matters most - family, friends, faith.For exercise I usually bike on trails around town. Cooking, reading, woodworking and home improvement projects are some other interests. I have two children whom I adore: a 14 year old girl and a 11 year old boy. They both keep me young at heart and I think I learn as much from them as they learn from me.What do l want? Given some experiences with Internet dating I feel the need to add some qualifiers. Faith in God is important - I'm a work in progress in this regard and do not seek a saint - you just have to be on the path. I respect people that have grown from life's challenges.
