I believe in treating my partner with love and respect and believe that they are special. I may not look like the type but if I care about you I am affectionate,loving,sensual,caring, and all of the rest that goes with that. And I do believe in treating folks the way I would want to be treated. Family is very important to me as well it should be.I am a happy positive person and a free spirit who always looks on the bright side and believes that everyday is a good day and a blessing. I am an adventurer and not a couch potato.I think romance is the order of the day with the right girl and a close relationship with family is a good thing. I believe in God and Jesus although I do not push my beliefs on other people. I do not believe that a couple should smother each other but also should do things together. I don't like arguing and confrontation. Disagreements should be worked out by finding common ground and give and take. I f we love and respect one another anything can be worked out and all things are possible.I would like to inform all of the ladies on here that have a college degree that the rest of us aren't a bunch of inarticulate bumpkins. I had to sound off on this subject because I have read many a profile and the insinuation is that if a person doesn't have a degree then they must be an inarticulate dummy! How conceeded could you be! I respect the fact that you had the opportunity to pursue a higher education. Some of us did not have that opportunity. I have been in many places and performed many jobs and have worked for and with all types of people. Just because you have a degree doesn't make you smart. I can do tons of things that your average poindexter can't. Does that make me better than them? Absolutely not.No I did not hit spell check but I would inform all of you nerds out there that yes I do know how to spell!.Love American history and historical sites as well. All work and no play seems to be my theme, these days. I'm trying to change that. When I do get some free time, I like to go out with friends.(We suck, but we keep trying.) We also like to check out some of the local bands..."Bitter Pill" and "Big Rain" are pretty good. For fun, I'm restoring a '67 Camaro. It was supposed to be a 2 year project...it's been closer to ten. It isn't so much fun, anymore. More like a quest. I guess I'm looking for someone who might enjoy sharing some fun and laughs and who would like to share some of her interests with me. I'm not a big fan of cliche' first dates. Dinner at a restaurant can be painful if the conversation hits a snag and you sit there, awkwardly looking at each other, in silence. At a movie, you don't get to talk at all. A drive in the country is always nice. After the ice has been broken, dinner and a movie is good, too.
