I'm an active, 50 year old guy who loves the outdoors, sports of almost any kind. I try to stay physically fit and healthy, I love to cook, I'm told I have a great sense of humor. I recently graduated from a certification program for computers in hopes of bettering my opportunities in these tough economic times. I don't believe that you can't teach an old dog new tricks.lol. I love all kinds of music, though not a fan of Rap, I still respect the Art. I love ALL animals. I have 3 cats. I'm very outgoing. Kind of a Jack of all trades when it comes to working around a house. I consider myself to be a romantic at heart, compassionate, and affectionate. I'm a lover, not a fighter, even though I spent most of my life playing hockey...lol. Also, I probably won't respond unless you have an updated photo in your profile. I like to be able to see the person I'm chatting with. It's only fair, I have mine up. On a first date, I'd have to say I'm the gentleman type. I first like to find out what type of foods she enjoys, whether she prefers wine or a beer with her meal, or even just soda or water. I'm the type that will hold a door open for a lady, and help her push her chair in when she sits. I certainly have no problem with a kiss on the first date. Anything else beyond that has to come through chemistry. I always found that if a conversation comes easy between 2 people, then there is a certain degree of chemistry already there. If there is any sign of difficulty in holding a conversation, I tend to take that as a bad omen. It probably just isn't meant to be. But I also feel it takes more then one date to get to know someone well enough. I don't believe in one-nite stands

    I am going to try my best to make this straight forward and simple. I am semi retired and now only perform some consulting simply to stay busy. I have had great successes and love my flexibility.
