About Me

Long overdue to find someone to start writing new chapters with. I am a honest and caring man that enjoys mostly simple things. Farm raised with a big city background makes me unique. I have had my own business for 16 years but recently debating if that makes me happy or not.Enjoy all types of animals and have a 7 yr old Hound from the Pound. He may not willing let you have the front seat till he gets to know you,lol. My past hobbies of racing and working with bands left me too busy to seriously search for my partner in crime. I did what i set out to do and made a lot of good friends, saw a unique side of life, and exhausted my need to watch people. Now i find the most satisfaction spending weekends back at my farm in west minn. I do still enjoy doing some work with race teams in the area and love taking someone to their first race. I try to support live music and have been teaching myself drums for several years.II enjoy movies, plays, walks and weekend getaways. But i'm just as happy to curl up on the couch and watch a good show or one of my favorite programs. Lately Gold Rush Alska, Full Throttle Saloon, Deadliest Catch and just last nite caught Broke Girls and loved it.My trade has been hit hard by the economy leaving me with time on my hands i fill by working on projects in my heated garage. I do snowplowing in the winter so any date comes with the"if it isn't snowing clause." and makes it hard to get away for the weekend till spring. Meet for drinks or dinner first see if there is mutual attraction. Second date probably more romantic. Would love to do some nighttime snowshoeing if it ever snows this year?

    Well... I think I'm pretty much a normal guy... LOL.I love road trips, long or short, (meaning a road trip doesn't have to be extravagant)... day or weekend road trips can be just as good... some of the best things are local and right under our noses. I'm up for just about anything... let me in on some of your fun places and I will be glad to return the favor!I love/play music... Live Bands, Concerts, Festivals, are all definitely a fun time for me... I play guitar, I like all types of music... I'm just not real big on Rap, (but I would listen to it... if for nothing else than a cultural experience). Art galleries and museums are a great time as well! BBQ's or cooking in my kitchen with friends and family is probably my #1 way to relax... I believe that both my grandmothers had it right... "Cooking was their therapy" and cooking with friends and family was there "Group Session"... LOL. I also love road trips just specifically to try special eateries or different foods... I'm a "Foodie" for sure. I’m looking for a great friend/mate who wishes and “works at” enjoying a drama free life… A person who "really" likes to make the best out of things and has the ability to focus and recognize their needs and the strength to make others aware of them. I believe communication is the basis of a healthy relationship and the only way to see that both people are striving to get their, (and their partners's) emotional/physical needs met.While, (like most people on this sight), I’m here with the aspiration of finding "Miss Right"... If the worst-case scenario is that I make a new best friend or a travel buddy along the way... then that would be worth the effort as well.I would rather talk than ***, (I can sell myself better that way)...     Hello all - It has been 21 years since my last first date so meeting people by the internet is all kinda new. I am also going back to school for a new career. I don't know which is more daunting: going back to school or dating again, lol. I am doing a complete ***in careers: engineering to counsling. After using the left side of my brain for 25 years, I figure it is time to give the right side some time. I want affection, I want touching. I want that stealth butt grab as you pass by me in the kitchen and when we sit on the couch together or go for a walk, expect me to reach over and grab your hand. Hard to figure out, right? If you are a born again Christian or an evangical Christian we will not get along, just wanted to put that out there. Yes, I am a Baptist but my church was kicked out of the Southern Baptist Convention for accepting all people for who they are. I do have kids ***and 8) and they live with me so please respect this. First dates should be somewhere casual where we can talk and get to know each other. You can learn a lot about someone while watching them eat pizza. I clean up nice but expect me to be wearing my birkenstocks (I'll wear my nice ones, lol)
