About Me

Hi, first off I am a bit shy about telling the world about myself, so this puts me in a bit of an awkward position, but they say I should talk about myself and if will assist me in finding someone whose company I enjoy, so be it. I put down dating but I am not against having a long term relationship with the right person. It has to start somewhere, right? I like music, animals, comedy, the outdoors, museums, antique shops and flea markets, anything to do with history or nature. I love the water. Music is also very important to me, as well as family and friends. I like sports and playing, but am not overly competitive, I just play to have fun. I am an honest, understanding, warm, passionate person, all that said I am not into drama. I try and be positive and am looking to have a positive chemistry with whomever I meet.I like to learn new things and have new experiences, looking for someone to go explore the world with. Ultimately I would like a relationship with someone I adore, but obviously you have to start dating to find out if a spark exists. I am doing well in my life and pretty happy, I am looking for someone to go out with and share experiences.I am looking to date initially and hopefully find something more with the right person. I am a pretty diverse person and have many thoughts, interests, and aspirations. I am a very giving and understanding person as well. At times I can be shy and withdrawn and other times outgoing and gregarious.I love all animals especially dogs, I would get another one if my schedule were different. I will get another dog someday, at least one. I also like watching cooking shows and in the Winter cook on/in my woodstove quite often. I also cook over fire in my fireplace out back. I own six+ acres of land near the river and there is always someplace to explore.I have a good sense of humor or so I've been told. I try to find humor in almost everything. I find it helps get people through rough times in their lives.Although I have full time employment in Information Technology I am also a musician. I like most music, I tend to try to find the good in everything. That being said, I am not a big fan of rap, just my not personal taste.I love the outdoors and nature I find a nice walk or hike seeing the beauty of nature makes me forget about the day to day troubles we all face.I have many hobbies and interests and always open to new experiences.
