About Me

I am looking for a woman to share conversation, activities, nights out and nights in. I enjoy trying new things and would welcome being introduced to your favorite activities. I enjoy music like indie rock, classic rock, dance R&B, & folk rock, depending on my mood and activity,.. plus much more, but those are my go to genres.I have a quick sense of humor. I am looking for someone to share laughs, quick wit and that look across the group's conversation, when we both just get it. Can you find humor or create humor from many situations or appreciate your guy doing so? That's me. But, I can be quite serious when called for. I am well balanced in many areas.I am steady, reliable and trustworthy. I certainly don't allow drama to circle, let alone penetrate, my life. Seriously, it just doesn't happen to me. I am good at avoiding or dismissing drama. If you are surrounded by drama but can never figure out why, I am likely not right you. I love animals, particularly dogs. I enjoy cats too, but I need to be careful of my cat allergy. I enjoy nature and science documentaries. I also appreciate other peoples' talents. I enjoy watching "Chopped" and other reality shows that showcase true talent. I don't enjoy Real Housewives, etc. I enjoy many types of movies and maybe the popcorn just as much. I love being outdoors, but am not a thrill seeker. But, I am not fearful of trying a rewarding experience like canyoneering, zip lines, skydiving, walking on the moon. You know, the usual travel activities.I really enjoy getting away on my boat (weekend cruises, socializing with boaters). It is a great retreat without a TV. I like most kinds of food. I actually can't think of one type I don't like. I will always find something on the menu to order. And, if we cook the meal together, I will like it even more. You will find me to be a caring, giving, loving man. I will help out or even take the lead in the kitchen and other areas of the home. I think that is a great start, but there is certainly more to me than this brief description. I am not going to state what I want in YOU. I can't narrow down my desires and needs in a number of words. I hope and expect there is more to you, too, than your profile suggests! Anywhere we can easily talk and look into each other's eyes to see if there is a real connection. In reality, we should just meet for a cup of coffee or an adult beverage and share a couple of appetizers. A Starbucks would feel like a pseudo business meeting to me, so I prefer a small cafe, bistro or happy hour. The best first date would be one that we expect to last 30 minutes, but goes on for hours, as we share easy conversation and that special spark..
