I am recently divorced from a 23 year marriage. Character and integrity are traits that have great importance to me. looking for a friendship to be built on honesty, trust and respect. these are very important. Christian values also. Let's see....I am hardworking, reliable, trusting, dedicated, I value family. I am honest and trusting to a fault. I enjoy spending time with my kids, supporting their activities. I have 3 kids, 23yo girl who has just been married, 19yo boy is in college, 16yo girl is a junior in high school.. they are great kids and are a source of joy and not stress. I like outdoor activities and riding dirt bikes and i have discovered that surfing is a blast! I like short road trips if i have someone to share the experience and a smile with. I am a positive type of guy and my glass is more than half full, as a matter of fact it is overflowing.... I think I just spilled it all over the floor...Lol. I feel that i am very blessed and thank GOD for it. My sense of humor is a little corny and is sure to make my kids eyes roll... occasionally sarcastic(in a good way).... I can laugh at myself as I seem to have plenty of opportunity. I am very handy around the house and good at fixin(southern term) most anything. I think I would be attracted to someone who has good character. She is happy(a happy person is a beautiful person) She is mature and wise and does not require raising(her mother did this well) She takes care of herself. I realize that beauty and fit at 20 something is different than 40 something and quite honestly I way prefer the 40 something(old guy-young girl thing is a little disturbing to me). She is kind and thoughtful. She knows that mature does not exclude playful and fun. She desires and values real intimacy and harmony. Her words are generally positive and uplifting. She is not perfect but wants to be perfectly loved....WOW....sounds like a fairytale princess... LOL... I don't know if this person exist and I am not sure if I would be worthy of her.... but I do believe this... Aim high, you have a much better chance getting what you aim for.

    Me, hum? Here goes, as best as I can tell, I have a lot of good qualities that most women are looking for. Honest, caring, loyal, patient, good listener, and affectionate. I’ My parents are great people of the Christian belief. I’ve taken those morals and values they’ve thought me and applied them to my life. Music can sooth the soul. I’ve been known to cook on occasion and I’m good on the grill! I’m more of a doer then a talker. (Pretty handy as they say) I try and communicate as effectively as I can. I’ LOL So yeah I can be stubborn for sure. I’ve learned over the years to try and not be judgmental and I’m still learning but for the most part it is what it is. I’m on the serious side for the most part but I can be funny and I will make you laugh from time to time whether you like it or not. Sometimes it’s off the wall and if you’ I do like to have fun and I do catch people off guard as I do have a wild side now and then. I used to cliff dive, and drive race car for fun. Some people think that’s crazy. I thought it was a blast. I’m somewhat educated, can’t spell without spell checker LOL. More of a scientific, numbers, logic, systematic, artistic person.(if that makes any sense?) Love the water, beach, rain, sun rise and set( I usually see them both in my line of work), hiking, biking, anything outdoors but I can get dressed up and go out on the town from time to time. I will dance when provoked; I was really into it back in the day. I work a lot of crazy hours but I do have a lot of time off and like to go to new places, see and do new things whenever possible. Travel, Travel, Travel !!! Could be as simple as cup of coffee or glass of wine.
