A little about me? OK. I used to tour the country doing stand up comedy and acting in dinner theater. I sold my truck and bought a Honda Silver Wing. Call it economizing from high gas prices, feeling aware of my carbon foot print, or being a middle aged man who always wanted a motorcycle!!!! I enjoy cooking and am rather blessed with some skills!!! I enjoy playing golf,relaxing at a Tiki Bar, taking my dog to the dog park, a nice bottle of wine and pretty much anything. I am constantly quitting smoking for a few weeks but wind up caving in only to feel guilty and quit all over again, one of these days the quitting will become permanent!!! I have a strong faith, but only share it with people when they ask, not one of those pesky, annoying Christians!!!! I registered a catch phrase during my show biz years and it is a mantra I try and live by "Keep a smile on your face and a laugh in your heart". I am also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, rather conservative in my political views, and live with a strong sense of integrity. I guess you can say, I am an all round nice guy!!! As cliche' as it may sound, I really do like the first date to be simply coffee or lunch, that can always lead to happy hour and/or dinner if there is a mutual interest in doing so.

It's taken a while, but I know what I want. I have a strong faith in God. I'm through with games and casual, aimless dating with people who can't commit. I'm serious about a relationship, but I never take myself too seriously. I've been broken and put back together too many times not to see the humor in my own circumstances. I know that I can be my own worst enemy, and I take responsibility for my choices (past, present and future).I work for myself and have a flexible schedule, which is convenient, but I occasionally have issues with time management. A perfect first date is where you meet for coffee and just talk for hours. I usually know after one of these encounters if I'm wasting my time or not. The worst first date is going to the movies. I can sit silently in the dark all by myself, thank you. And I LOVE movies.
